| *sigh* Luke and I got into an argument on Sunday. It was my fault, I
kept pushing the issue. Drat. I asked him what his opinion on women in
government was...grrr. It all went downhill from there. Yesterday's
lesson was kind of tense after our argument on Sunday. Oh well. I
suppose I ought to apologize on Sunday... it's just... I don't know.
WHY doesn't he think women should be in government? I mean, there's
Deborah, and she was the judge over all of Israel! *sigh*

| LUKE CALLED ME! Ah! That was sooo cool! *grins* Sorry, I was just
really excited. Luke just called, me and we had a very nice phone call
together. Hehe. He actually called to ask me which Hanon exercise I had
assigned for him to do, but he did call, and it was very nice. He said
he really called to say Happy Thanksgiving, but after he dialed the
cell he remembered he didn't know which Hanon he was supposed to do.
But it was just so cool to do talk to him... *sigh* I can't wait to see
him again, he is really cool. And he laughed during our conversation, I
love his laugh.

| Well, I had piano lesson from 9:15-9:45 with Macrina today, and she did
very well. From 9:45 to 10:15 I did piano with Luke. Hah! Rofl, I'm
sorry, but he is sooo incredibly bad. His fingers are all thumbs. Hehe.
But he has a very very charming smile, and I love his laugh. He likes
to laugh. We talked a little bit before they left, and he is very nice.
He doesn't agree with me completely on political issues, but he is
conservative, at least. ;) He is very very nice, I think we will
get along very well.
Well, I'm off to pack. I won't see Luke this Sunday, since we'll be in NY. :(

| Sunday before last a new family came to church. The
Fairfaxes, and they moved recently from Freeport,
PA. They have three children,
Philip, Luke, and Macrina. Philip is at Franciscan!!! It’s totally cool! He’s
not coming home for Thanksgiving break, but I’ll meet him when Christmas break
comes around. I look forward to talking to him about it. Macrina is about my
age, and is very nice, but isn’t interested in politics. *sigh* But Luke makes
up for it! Luke is very interested in politics, and we have had very
interesting discussions these past two Sundays. He’s nineteen, and I will be
teaching him piano along with Macrina on Wednesday mornings. They only live
like twenty minutes away, which is cool. And Mrs. Fairfax and Mom apparently
had a very nice conversation on homeschooling.
Grr. Luke doesn’t agree with the South though!!! We had a
big debate over it last Sunday, and then I spilled my juice, provoking teasing
from him. Argh. It’s not fair. Why is it that everyone I meet teases me, even
if we haven’t known eachother very long??? Anyway, the Fairfaxes are very nice, and it’s sooo cool
to meet another homeschooled family. Apparently they used to live in England!!
Luke
was born there, and he still has a trace of a British accent… I love
his
accent. It’s really neat. I look forward to seeing Luke and Macrina
again tomorrow.... *grins* I just hope I don't do anything
stupid, and that we don't discuss the Civil War... ;) | | |
