| Hello xanga world..
got through the craptastic time that is finals week and emerged to find a beautiful beautful spring break.. hello world! Do you remember me? The girl who was burried under the massive piles of book. It's me Margaret... sorry for that slight judy blume tanget, but you know you love it..
Anyways, the joy of spring has descended upon us again and what am I doing, you may ask? I'm sitting here on my lonesome in my apartment in Costa Mesa absolutely nothing. Blessing or curse. I'm not too sure about. My spring break sure does look dismal, but the start of spring break sure did have promise.
Last thursday, after the final scantron was turned in, after the last note book was shoved under the bed. I drove my pretty self to visit my friend Olga. Olga was my friend in DC when I spent a dizzingly great month learning about the inns and outs of Media and Politics. I didn't really learn much cept that politicans are evil and likewise Fox News. But, did I learn to hold my alchy. My girl Olga and I would drink something for like 2 weeks straight. It was great! Haha.. Anyways, i went to my friend's posh pad at the Legacy in Westwood. This place was TIGHT! They had a doorman, free valet, and all sorts of amendities. It costs like 3500 for a one bedroom apt. I do digress, however, It was an upgrade from where I live.
We went to this place to get Happy Hour on-- took a cab too! I got soo drunk off 4 dollar margartias and 1 dollar steak tacos... Horray for Happy Hour!! After that we drove to Century City to go salsa dancing. We had some difficulties with 21 and under crowd, but after that drama. We actually danced some salsa. My lone 24 hour fitness salsa class did not suffice. I was so lost-- stepping on ole guys feet and bumping into strangers. I learned some steps from some regulars. There was "the guy in red" who dictated what steps and turns I should be taking. There was "the Egg" who looked like a egg and slightly danced like one-- all wobbly and such. However, they did teach me, so i can't make fun of them.
So that's the extent of fun for my springbreak. Am planning to go up north to visit the Honda robots and perhaps wine tasting in Napa.
for now.. peace | | |
| Hello again xanga world..
I love xanga and how I can keep in touch with peeps whether or not I actually verbally talk to them... like gina.. hello ! It's the weeks preceeding finals and of course I am procrastinating like WOAH.. but whatevs..
I just had a thought-- the people that you do grow up with do stay with you. It's bizarre. My friend Nance and I have been friends for like 17 years. Crazy huh? From little girls who fought over that Pink cup for ice cream to the crazy woman ( i suppose I can call myself one of those) who steal sips from each others drinks and well food.. So... just major props to the people that had stuck through me throughout all these years. Ur my little precious peeps!
And to lilly (chris lee)... hello hello and don't get lost in the snow in Alaska and don't eat the yellow snow ( saw ELF last night-- had to mention that). Anyways.. i am blubbering and i don't care..! Gotta read about Terrorism and Evil bushy!

| Hello xanga world..
It's 3am in Cali and I am all alone. The preceding sentence does sound like A. a really bad chick rock song or B. a really bad intro for a chick flick. Either way, it just screams desperation.. so... anyways..
Life has been good. I successfully completed 3 finals and one LSAT test-- all within 5 days. It was mentally challenging and phsyically taxing, however, I feel confident in myself. I suppose that's all you can do at this point-- be confident in yourself. There's no other way to change what you have or haven't done. But according to my conversation with DJ, my LSAT test is in the hands of a divine intervention. Let's hope the GODS (I am going to use all of them.. as they'll cover all bases) will come through.
But life after that, has been bliss. It is amazing! I have never worked so hard for something so hard in my life as I have studied for the LSATs. Man oh mighty it was such a fabulous feeling after that burden was released. I felt all chartiable and christmasy-- it was the best feeling of the world! I'd swear.
Another thing that the completion of the LSATs afforded me was the ability to reconnect with several of my friends. Oh.. man how I yearned for a great conversation. It was amaaazing ( u gotta picture the margie way of saying AMAZING). My friend Jenn (white jenn to those who know) and I had a sleepover and a dinner date. We talked about life, career, aspirations (she's going to be in the Olympics-- where I am going to meet hot hot athletes and fall in love and make adorable babies), friends, and love. It felt so great to just sit there and talk-- even when we knew that we had a shit load of things to do.. it just felt like an awesome relase which I don't get a lot. Because for the most part, I live a large portion of my life in my head talking to myself (like JD on SCRUBs,but without the fun daydreams)
and i suppose that's all i want in life.. to be real with peeps...sigh...
Check out John Cale's "Hallelujah" or ask me and i'll dl it to you... Man it's the best song for my mood now..
Have a happy holidays Xanga Peeps! much love..
| Happy gobble gobble xanga world..
Sorry.. it's been a month or so? Why do i always update during and near holidays ? I have no idea.... For a little while, I have been prepping myself for the LSAT tests and man has that been a killer.. aiya! With 3 classes, work, actively working out-- this all has been a killer. I keep on telling myelf how cool it would be to be a lawyer. To help people to see changes. Cause let's face it the world abides by the rule of law.. that has been my own motivating factor. I'd swear! And my cute LSAT teacher. Damn it's so hard when they put a handsome face in front of me. I just don't learn so well.. oh wells.. It's almost 2.. I should sleep... wake up formorning sales if i wanna go.. shrug..
will write tommorrow.. I promise!

| hey xanga world..
it's been uh.. 2 months..? oops. My bad. I got a little lazy writing in this sucka. A lot has happened in those two months. I found out my dad has lymphoma, however it's stage one and totally curable and thank goodness. I just started school once again and boy was that annoying. sheesh! You expect me to learn again after a year of traveling and raising hell in HK and asia? Come on now! Oh and lastly, I decided that I was going to officially try my hand at law school. Why you may ask? I am not exactly sure to this day, however, I find it interesting. I don't know how long that will sustain me though. And lastly, I have a lack of a social life.
Apparently, the upkeep of my gym routine, school, job, and lsat obligations makes me little more than a lifeless carbon blob with little or no friends. Yes, I do have friends, but I do miss the abandon of partying til the sun came up and I dunno meeting cool people and just having a grand ole jolly time. I figure if there's no other place for me to complain, I think I should best complain here.
So that's my two cents and the moral of the story. Come play with Me, I may not have much time, but I'd sure love the invite.
