Searching for the glitter
that lies beyond my nails
searching for shinning specs
in the motion of dogs tails

Running out of old spice
sugar in substitute
I search for glitter in my heart
and pray for a bountiful loot

When virtue is seen unplucked by man
his ambition he'll re-arrange
to catch the heart of a woman
whose kisses he'll ardently exchange.

And once her feather is in his cap
no more of her he'll need
and as he tosses her from his lap
he'll rationalize his deed

As suddenly those golden dreams
of hearth and steady wife
Were not upon his mind it seems
And he'll not change his life.

With amnesia's friendship by his side
He'll galantly go his way
And again his loins will be his guide
To arrangements of another day.

Yummmmmmmmm,
I just ate the best artichoke I've ever had. When I saw it at the store, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a beautiful crisp green without a single black blotch on it. It was larger than a softball with rounded leaf ends that opened slightly and a stem that was the diameter of a 1/2 dollar and over 2" long. If I had a digital camera, I'd put this beauty on the site. It wasn't the slightest bit tough and every leaf was tastey from the inside out. I wonder if I'll ever see one like that again. Ahhhhh

Taking the packing out of my nose was a trip. I had no idea it would be like that. I stopped taking pain killers yesterday afternoon because I was tired of feeling weird and wanted my head to clear. I got there and the dr puts those forceps on the plug of packing that has my nostrils stretched double their normal size and he started to tug while I pulled back and said "wooo, is this how it's gonna be?" and he just calmly shook his head yes and said "yea, that's how it's gonna be". I said wow, I shoulda taken some tylenol first or something. He said, "didn't they tell you to take the pain medication before you came in?" I just said "no. Lets do it." And he proceeded to pull the big plug, followed by this long string of packing that wound way into the cavities of my face and out my nostril. It was the creepiest thing like someone pulling my brains out through my nose. It was horrible and my eyes were just watering and blood and junk just came dripping out into a tray I held while he did this. He told me stories about how this is the part that some people remember the most......ewwww . yea, I won't be forgetting soon. You would not believe how much bandage can fit up your nose. It's incredible.
So my nose swelled back up and my upper lip is still swollen and I kinda look like a monkey that's been painted with purple and yellow. It's amazing the color palette that's available to the body. Surprised some freak artist hasn't done and exhibition on it yet. Maybe that's waiting for me.......

Demon scale so cold and shiny down beneath my feet
waiting like hells judgment to measure my defeat
causing me to mourn what was formerly a feast
you torment every worshiper you numerical beast.
