2 cool 4 school

Here I sit, having an ADD moment while I'm looking over Ryan's music history paper that is due tomorrow.

*sigh*

I miss having my own ADD moments writing my OWN paper for school. Seriously. Who thought that I'd ever miss school, let alone miss writing papers?! Not me. But man, this is killing me right now. Mostly because I don't know what he's talking about and I'm itching to do research and formulate a paper for myself, but alas, it's due tomorrow for him so that leaves me no time to make proper suggestions. That and the fact that I know nothing about the topic (evolution of music notation in the 13th and 14th century or something like that).

Hhmmmm...I guess there's always grad school, but then I would have to take the GRE and I really don't want to. Are there schools that don't require GRE scores? I heard this may be true but where (Colorado?!?!?!)? Second, what would I study? Maybe marketing since it's pretty close to public relations and it seems interesting. Or maybe something in the communication field. I always had fun in my comm studies classes. I find it very interesting to research and study how different people communicate.

Okay, ADD moment almost over. Gotta finish looking at this before I have to go to bed. Maybe I'll go back and read some of my old papers.

Cheers to reminiscing!

I swear I'm 23...

Okay, I admit it: I like High School Musical. What's even worse, I like High School Musical 2, too. And I'm 23. The songs are catchy and who can deny that Zac Efron is a hottie, even if he's only 19...

Seriously, tell me he's not hot:

Whoa.

He can dance and sing and act. *sigh*

Okay, I'm over it. Well, not really but I'm over gushing. I can have a high school crush. Lay off.

Let's see, what else is going on in my life? I've made a life commitment to get back in shape this fall. Especially if I want to do any ski races (Birkie, City of Lakes Loppet...?). I'm also taking a test to be certified in CPR (Adult, Child and Infant) and Standard First Aid from the Red Cross. I guess they are good for something. And I got to take the class for free. w00t. I'm also going to be at the State Fair on Tuesday, August 28 from 5-9 PM at the Red Cross booth (in the Health building) so stop by if you are going to be at the fair. Should be a good time.

Ryan moves back to St. Cloud next weekend for school. *tear* It's going to be weird not being able to see him everyday. I hope I can cope. haha. Young love. How cute.

I'm already sick of paying bills for myself, and I don't even have that many. Let's see...school loans, car loan, insurance (it gets taken out of my paycheck), car insurance. Growing up sucks balls. Dang. I can't wait til I get my own house and have to pay a mortgage on top of everything else. And a wedding!! That's going to be hella expensive. Damn. Okay, now I'm getting depressed.

Alright, I guess that's it from me. I can't wait for fall. I looooove fall weather.

Until next time....
Adios

Uummm...yeah....

So, I FINALLY saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night with Amanda. Holy. Crap. It's a must see, for sure. This was definitely the best of the 5 so far. It was so dark, but still funny. And the cinematography was really awesome. Not that I'm super into that or anything, but you could tell it was a different director and the angles were different and just the overall quality. Whatever, it's too early to think about this kind of stuff but the bottom line was that it's AMAZING. So go see it. Now.

Boo Work....Hooray Beer!

So it's my fourth week at work and I'm starting to not like it so much. Granted, I never really liked work, but c'mon...only a month? I think part of it is that I haven't worked in such a long time that I'm not used to it yet. But I also think another part of it is that it's not really what I went to school for. Yes, I went to school for communication but I didn't go to be a customer service rep. People are really dumb and they don't know what they want. It seems like people are calling just to put me through hell and that's not okay with me. People will call up with the most random problems and expect me to fix it for them. Hello!? I'm still new. I don't know what the hell is going on. To top it all off it's starting to get busy again and I feel like I can't handle everything that is coming at me. I guess I'm just not proficient enough at the whole process yet.

I started looking for new jobs today at work. Probably not the best idea but whatev. I was looking for stuff in St. Cloud because I've been toying with the idea of moving back up there for a few years while Ryan finishes school. It's not the worst place to live and rent is cheap. I'd like to get back out on my own. And I figure there is a better chance for jobs since no one else wants to live in St. Cloud. haha. Who knows if that's true but ya never know. On the other hand, all my friends are now down here so I would have no one to hang out with. I mean, yeah, there's Ryan and Harry, who are always fun to hang with. And I know a few others but I feel like I would be pretty bored. Although, I haven't had much time to do much of anything now that I'm working 40 hours a week. Anyway, it's up in the air, that's all I gotta say...

Ryan and I went shopping today and I bought some new running shoes. They are pretty sweet ass, if you must ask. Here is a little sneak peek...

Mmmmmm. I like crazy colored running shoes. I'm not sure why, I just do. But now I'm just worried about getting them dirty. I hate getting my running shoes dirty, at least right away. After a while I get over it.

Not much else to report on. It's almost time for Leah's wedding! Can't wait. The dress is super pretty.

A Lovers' Paradise

Okay, so I found the most beautiful place I've ever seen and I MUST go there someday. It would be perfect for a honeymoon, if I had that kind of money. Anyway, here are some pics. And yes, Dave, some are from Kevin. And no, I didn't get the idea from Kevin, he just secured it with his pictures. I first found this place in the movie "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" where one of the girls goes there to visit her grandparents for the summer. Know where I'm talking about yet? Okay, here it is:

Dun dun dun

Santorini, Greece!

I don't know what I love most about it. Maybe the ocean. Maybe the colors and structures of the houses. Maybe the culture. Maybe all of it.
