| Only 7 days until I'm flying to Texas as my disembarking point toward Romania. It's going to be great. Thanks to all of you who have helped with donations and especially prayer. Please keep the dates of July 20th through August 6th on your calendar to pray for me, Abbey Close, and the rest of the Romania team. | | |
| The Fourth of July. Another opportunity to thank God. I live in a country where I can freely praise Him, in the streets at the top of my lungs if I choose. A country that was founded by people who wanted to escape religious oppression. And there is still some of that today. In the name of protection of those with other opinions or other religions, we don't allow Christians to do things that we allow others to do in the name of religious tolerance, or diversity. Celebrate the 4th. Make it a great day of thanksgiving for the freedom you have and prayer for those who fight to preserve that freedom. And then join in the battle, right in your town, neighborhood, or workplace. Keep America a Christian nation, and help raise the fervor for our Savior. ON a different note, I'm having a GREAT time in Alabama. Relaxing, kiaking, jogging, hiking, swimming, tubing, boating, fishing, etc. It's been a blast. And when I get back, I get to start a new job that I really want. God is good, and faithful, and refreshing when we wait on His timing and allow His direction to lead our lives. | | |
| WOW! vacation in Alabama with my friends, the Whitings. Swimming, boating, hiking, and food, food, and more food. All made better when your with friends. It's been good so far, and we've only been here two days. And even better, when I get back I start a new job (same company, different position) for which I'm pretty excited about. AND even better than THAT! When I get back It's only 11 days until I'm off to Romania! WOW, what a summer! I can't wait to get over there, see what happens with our team and with the people from Romania. Working at an orphanage, evangalism in the city, and just meeting new people in new places. I'm expecting God is going to do something great. Please keep us in your prayers. | | |
