my friend jeremy is teaching me how to box. i have always underestimated my strenght and abilities, and am now fully realizing that i can be active physically. it's a necessity for me to learn how to protect myself and therefore took on the commitment i have right now with boxing. in addition, it allows me to express the inner angst i have. plus it is addictive thanks to adrenalin.  

we've had a bunch of boxing matches at leigh's parties this weekend. it turned out very well. denis is my favorite fighter. hehe he's hilarious when he's on a match. awesome guy. he's a cheerleader and in the improv group and yet he is not the stereotype people think of when involved in such activities. he's a roamer like me. we fit in everywhere. he's also a pimp who has natural flirting capabilities towards women which i greatly admire. the guy is smooth.

anyway enough about him. the freshmen this year give us the refreshment this campus needs. this is an awesome class with peaked diversity i've seen so far (not just racially, but simply backround and what they can offer.) it's a flavorful group, and my god do i know a lot of them.

i am in a monogamous relationship right now. it's something that i have missed and am glad to have. there's still a huge adjustment i need to go through. i need to let my guards down a bit and let the other person in. as max said, one has to take a risk in order to experience the beauty of a relationship. he's right. and i shall.

a few more weeks before san diego road trip with miguel, stu, jeremy and leigh. i cant wait. it's gonna be fucking amazing. ameilia might come too but im not too sure about that.
