I'm still on this earth :)

All is well in my neck of the woods. Just can't seem to get back into posting an entry here on a daily or even weekly basis. I admire all of you that can do it, as it does take time out of your life to post here. I enjoy reading all of you, but I just can't seem to get with it myself. Shucks, what is it gonna take for me to get as good as most of you...... about posting an entry ?  Usually I run out of things to write. At least interesting things. Nobody want's to read about my daily chores around here. So I guess that's why I don't post much.

I lead a very laid back lifestyle. ha.ha

Especially since I'm still recovering from hip replacement surgery. I've packed away the walker and now using the cane. Hopefully in another month I can get rid of the cane and start on my daily walks again. Then onto my bike riding and hopefully golf before the season ends. My recovery is remarkable in that I've done so well. I was laid up maybe one month, by the second month I was able to get around and even go to the store and theater. Doctor is impressed but not surprised. He said when he met me he had the feeling I'd do well. But then again he was and is a great surgeon.

Glad to hear you are doing so well.  When you didn't blog, I thought that you might have had a setback.  Happy I was wrong!!

I am not blogging every day anymore.  Too boring a life most of the time.

I didn't start blogging every day until last week -- then the inner child thing.  But once I have my surgery, I plan on blogging daily.  It's been therapy for me the last week.  I'm so glad you stopped by!  I took off my earlier blogs from Feb.  I don't think I can put them back, but I'll check.  I'm also glad you're doing so well after surgery.

"This is what I mean about enjoying the pictures you post here. This one is sooooooooooo beautiful. Please continue to post more."

thanks for the comment, Mary.

I am glad to see that you are recovering.  Where I live, at the Georgia belle apartments for independant living, there are about 160 seniors.  some are healthy and some are not, but often I see that the happiness of a person, there, has little to do with how many problems they have!

as long as you grow, if only in mind heart and soul, you are "young", i see.  does not matter if those Northern grey days keep you indoors, there are books, computers, the 5,000,000 photos on www.flick.com, etc.etc.

I never post anything earth shattering or exciting, only my everyday.     But I like to read about other people's lives that are ordinary like me, so others read my journal and comment.     We are lucky to be ordinary aren't we?

ps  And my computer is wonderful for wasting time.  ha ha

Glad you are doing great with your recovery!   I don't post as often as I use to.  But when I do I tend to ramble on and on.... but it is for my therapy and my journal so I guess that is OK. LOL

I am always glad to see you have posted....let's me know that you are doing just fine.  I know you have lots to do to fill your days and obviously you are doing a great job in your recovery.  I have no doubt that you will soon be out and about the countryside again.

So glad you are doing so well.

You may think you have nothing to write about but you do. Old Hat did a thing about favorite teachers. If you can remember yours, do something like that. My favorite Sunday School teacher was Mrs. Scobbie. Was it her Scottish accent I wonder? lol
