| i just have to blah it out now...cause this 'partner' of mine just doesn't know what 'team work' is. She takes your work and shows them to management saying this is what 'she' thinks and did...and at the end she gets a 'good job' from them...and she didn't even tell them that we work as a team...she receives the credit all to herself...and while i sit and wait for the review, an hour later...she emailed me that she went to the review without me. Ok, fine. At least tell me what comments the management had and what updates we need to make! she keeps them to herself again. And later when i have questions and present them to the management, asking on the discrepancies that i found, she then tells me that the originals were changed and we now have such and such infront of the manager, like she really knows what's going on etc. O come on...i feel that she wants to keep things herself to protect her position or something. But she's so much higher level engineer than i am...how would I steal away her knowledge and position! And as we are moving on to the next stage, i'm here doing the draft, and as i'm half done, she comes to me and asks me what i'm doing. And then she tells me she did a first draft and she gave the draft to the manager for review. But she didn't let me know cause she thinks she can do it herself. Ok! "did you make a copy for me to review and to edit and add stuff to it?" "No. I just gave it to the manager" and as we talk, she has so much mistakes on it. If she comes to me to discuss it first, we wouldn't mess up on the assignment. and plus she's not even complete with the assignment. She's less than half done, where she's just representing the work we did and nothing more. Sigh! People, people. and so i asked infront of her, "am i part of this assignment?" i fele like she thinks she can do it all herself. But she replies "o yea we need you"...i really want to blah infront of her face saying then how come you're doing this. I feel like just dropping the job and let her do the whole thing and see how she does it. Cause she's not doing things yet she claims that she did the work infront of management. Last Friday, we had a dealine, and while we did some of the sections together the day before, on friday, she told me she wants me to do the rest of the sections as she's busy 'typing up' what we discuss the day before. I asked if she needs help in typing it up, cause she's really really slowwwww in typing and she doesn't know the 'technique and skill' in typing. E.g. even to copy a paragraph, she would do it line by line, like she doesn't know how to copy the whole paragraph and be done with it, same with unhighlighting the whole document, she goes highlight each line and then click on the blank highlighter. I mean come on, stop wasting time! and in the mean time she wants me to put the beef so she can get credit! I've actually never seen someone like this in my 4 years of work experience, and this is my first time knowing someone being so 'nice' on the outside while being nasty inside. |
