| A reason of is not a excuse for-A reason of is not a excuse for people. I understand things happen in the past that might make some behave in a particular fashion in certain situations, but a cause of your actions now is not a excuse for your actions. If you settle for nothing now, you'll settle for nothing later. If you don't take action now, whats gonna happen to you later? If you act a certain way now because of what happenend 15 years ago, then that says your stuck still in that mindframe from 15 years ago. Settle your old scores, or get over them, confront your old enemies or forget it- learn and live and life goes on and if your still alive and well. Enough negative stuff already goes on everyday, its not healthy to have the negative disposition. No, not everything is beautiful and easy, but thats the way it go. There is no finality in adaption, there is a persisting urgency to change. had a eventfull fourth celebration (liqour, firearms, fire works and bbq,) realized gotta minimize drinking, it just takes me to a dark place that i have to spend the rest of the night climbing out of- though pleasurable for a while. is indifference complacency or defense mechanism against more dissappointment? | | |
| Myths about america for americansFinished reading Ayn Rand's Atlas shrugged, one of the most amazing fiction books i have ever read, already getting the fountainhead going to devour that. my weekend in summary (my brother graduated high school) i likes to mix it up, i got 4 different countries here
America 'we live in a democracy' NOPE. we don't. read the constitution, articles of confederation the word democracy is not mentioned once. We live in a constutional republic, meaning that every human has specific unalienable rights, and the privelege of having a representative defend those interests and rights. The powers that be convinced us that we are a 'democracy'. In a democracy 51% of the mob controls the other 49%. Then the powers that be got us to adopt a electoral college, then they tell us 'oh your vote counts' when it doesn't. Do you realize that since the time of lincoln your vote has barely mattered, and is only used as a tiebreaker in the event if supreme court can't decide. That means that only to the thrid degree it matters in presidential elections. Can some one please tell me how 2 political parties represent the vested intersts of over 200 million citizens? They convinced that 2 political parties, 2 absolutes, represent the entire +200 million people able to vote. Each man/woman is an absolute in themselves, very few are completely identical, though all have similar traits. And any person who has thier mind made up on issue before they even hear it is an idiot. Not to mention all politicains are bought for by lobbyists, with vested interests in thier investment (the politician, which is all of them). Bought and paid for shall be the whole of the law in politics. The media and its coverage, HA. the same companies that own the t.v. stations also own weapons companies, oil companies, hardware companies. Do you think they will run a story that will cut into their profit margins? If you do i have a bridge i want to sell you. It's deplorable to think, that in this day and age of mass communication globally, that most still rely on television for their main source of information, with several alternatives available. As in all things, look at who has motive from making big actions(i.e.) who stands to make money, thats it. Greed and power are usually the most motive people need in decision making. I posted a little something on youtube, a stupid joke, i have a big idea and will be posting more in the future, but favorited some good music videos and some funny star wars spoofs for the nerds(not hardcore but enough for a nerd tag), here's the link if you want to check it out http://www.youtube.com/user/mattro44 Love Peace and the Freedom of Choice | | |
| Brink teeteringPOLITICS IN AMERICA IN A NUTSHELL- Do you want the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left? Which whore at the capitalist gang bang suits your tastebuds? I like this form of fascism, i like this form of fearmongering capitalism. This puppet is promising a future that will never come into fruition, just like all the others did before. Everyone 1 of the morons that they are parading in front of us is already bought and paid for, everything they say is suspect, and everytime they open their mouth it's like a turd falling into the punchbowl of america. Your freedoms are not free to be dumb. If you still buy into the fake left/right paradigm, and don't see the whole control system for what it is, your an idiot. ON RELIGION- I don't believe in a god, that would create man, heaven and hell, and purposely create man to sin so that he could send them to eternal damnation- what type of narsicissitic sick fuck would purposely do that? Do you see the suffering that goes on everyday and you mean to tell me that god would punish us further by sending us to a eternal gulag? And he purposely created me to send me there? pshhh- no god of mine and fuck your dogma, if that works for your, if your content with blinldy and unquestiongly following completions made by men century's ago, well thats your purrogative, but for people who ask questions and need answers with legit and sensefull answers, it doesn't work. Others completions don't complete me. If you want some asshole from 1500 years ago or longer to tell you how to live, who back then didn't have to deal with television, intruding governments that are now able to monitor everything and everyone at all times, banking whores who have been in control for a millenium, and massive brainwashing via television, and you mean to tell me they can tell us how to live today? Man is ultimately responsible for himself, and no gods or aliens from above are going to drop down and save us, so we need to stop looking up, need to stop looking into the past for answers. ON INTERNET PIRACY- The floodgates have been openend on the internet, via peer to peer networking (p2p), these corporations are not i repeat NOT worried about the money, at the least their concerned about the money, what 'they' are concerned with is the fact that the free flow of Information might loosen there stranglehold on their litlle corner of industry. It literally now takes 10 dollars what usued to take 10 million dollars to produce. The release of recording and editing technology, enables people to make thier own music or movie, independant of needing corporate sponsorship, and this is what they are afraid of, because they are loosing they're power. The music industry didn't start with the invention of the phonograph, its not going to end with p2p networking. The movie industry didn't begin with the camera ( plays anyone?), and it's not going to end with p2p networking. INFORMATION IS MORE VALUABLE THAN MONEY, AND THATS WHAT THEY ARE SCARRED OF. IN DEALING WITH THE SHEEPLE- "Your crazy" "no seriously just look at this one thing" NO. You deserve american idol and dancing with the stars and american gladiators idiot. I on the other hand is an adult, and will pursue adult things in all things, even when it comes to sittin down and watching the old kill my brain television. ON ANTI-INTELLUCTUALISM- "No seriously just read this book." "Read, pshhh" "Just watch this one thing, it will blow your mind" "NO!" - if your not pursuing truth in all it's permeatations, then what are you doing? And ladies, stop going for these assholes, you want to better the world, blow a nerd. Remember, todays nerd is tommorows millionare, stop rutting with these aholes that aren't going anywhere and will never better the world. The system is not designed for people who want to be self sufficient. It's designed for people who are cow like consumers, wafting through life, slave laboring with 4 brain cells firing which is just enough to make us get through the day, numb and not having to ever worry about anything ever, then the system can accomodate you. Self sufficiency and access to information is paramount in winning this eternal and external battle | | |
| Why Reinvent the Wheel?Quotes I've seen and liked very much, the dates are the either exact or the years they lived "I fear for my country when I remember that god is just" - Thomas Jefferson "We have to accept the fact that all of our political leaders are certifiably insane or worse" G. Edward Burroughs "War is the most ancient of religions, and it will be the last"- Pierre Joseph Proudhon "Scarcity is the peculiar obsession of a business economy, the calculable condition of all who participate in it. The market makes freely available a dazzling array of products- all these 'good things' are within a man's reach- but never in his grasp, for one never has enough to buy everything. To exist in a market economy is to live out a double tragedy, beginning in inadequacy and ending in deprivation.... We stand sentenced to life of hard labor. It is from this anxious vantage that we look back on the hunter. But if modern man, with all his technical advantages, still hasn't got the wherewithal, what chance has this naked savage with his puny bow and arrow? Having equipped the hunter with bourgeois impulses and paleolithic tools, we judge this situation as hopeless in advance."- M.D. Salins "Man will do many things, no matter how absurd, to keep from having to face himself"-Carl Jung "If you make yourself sheep, the wolves will eat you." Ben Franklin "The great nations have always acted like gangsters, and the small nations like prostitutes." Stanley Kubrick. "We shall find truth when we examine the problem. The problem is never apart from the answer. the problem is the answer- understanding the problem dissolves the problem."- Bruce Lee "Every moment changes you." - Bruce Lee "Religion can never reform mankind because religion is slavery." -Robert C. Ingersoll "All the wisest of every age are in agreement: it is foolish to wait for fools to be cured of their folly! The proper thing to do is to make fools of the fools!"- Goethe "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." Goethe "Sorrow is knowledge: they who know the most must mourn the deepest over the fatal truth: The tree of knowledge is not that of life."- Lord Byron from the play Manfred "The ancient romans built their greatest masterpieces of architecture for wild beasts to fight in" - Voltaire "The same men that can convice you of absurdities are the same men that can make you commit attrocities."- "Man will cease to commit attrocities when he ceases to believe absurdities" - Voltaire 1694-1778 "When there's peace, the warlike man will attack himself"-Friedrich Nietzsche 1844-1900 "Were the middle children of history-no place or purpose, no great war, no great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war, our great depression is our lives." Chuck Palahniuk, author of fight club "Commmunism is the name of this tremondous advesary. Communism is nonetheless the dark hero, cast for an enormus if fleeting role in the modern tragedy, and waiting it's cue to enter the stage" - 1843 Heinrich Heine "The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of a million men is a statistic" Josef Stalin 1940ish? "A nation can survive it's fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the heart of man. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city. He infects the body politic so it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear." - Marcus Cicero 42 B.C. | | |
| bahumbugBeen meaning to update, nothing much happening- almost finished reading the Carl Jung collected works, got to page 500 of a 650 page book, i decided i needed a bit of a break, so I switched to a meager 475 page book. Can any please explain to me the signifacance of the 'need' of having a christmas tree,(like the origins of it, who decided this was 'tradition'), when did it start? I saw a comedian say it sounds like someone got drunk and dragged a tree into their living room one winter. I get the suspicion that there probably aren't even pine tree's in bethlehem, and also that this is some sort of conspiracy to speed global warming by cutting down perfectly healthy tree's,(both manmade and natural {global warming that is}) simply to be discarded a few weeks later, and for the novelty of what? Also to mention that jesus was born in springtime, and we are merely celebrating the winter solstice. My bithday is the day after Christmas, kind of kills the fun of getting gifts. Not that I expect gifts anymore, for christmas or my birthday, which is more than likely and has been, but basically I look forward to a good meal more than anything else........... Consider me scrooge Its Monday night, Nov. 19th, just got back from a tool concert. ROCK ON! Hearing loss not too bad, my ears just feel blown out. $50 dollars a ticket, 65 after service charges, but well worth it- made my month. Pretty cool, I likes me some tool, it's kind of funny I was thinkin about it, I bought my 1st tool cd when I was like 12, when their new at the time cd Aenema came out, liked it so much went out the next weekend and bought undertow, been a fan since. Here I'am almost a decade later, finally seen them in concert. Well I'm done ramblin, just pumped and drained and thought I'd ramble on the internet to my anonymus friends. Just literally finished watchin Alex Jones Endgame. Wow. The thing that scares me really though, is not the information he was deciminating, but the fact that I've become so desensitized via knowledge of facts that not much in that movie even remotely sickenend me. Not that I'm for that shit, but like i wouldn't expect anything less or something. Somethings wrong with me maybe.. On a side note, picture if 'they' had a guy with Alex Jones intelligence and wherewithal on their side - oh wait...................... | | |
