| Last thursday night, my grandma was admitted to the hospital for high fever and pneumonia. Since most of my familes are out of houston, i made myself the point contact and let the rest of my extened family knows how grandma was doing. Everyday after work, i would go to the hospital and take over the next shift from my mom, since she was | | |
| CityFest Houston was last weekend in Downtown Houston. It was an awesome weekend. I went on Saturday and Sunday. I've always wanted to go to one of these evangelistic conference where thousands and thousands of people are there worshipping God together. Chris Tomlin was on sunday night as one of the artists to play that night.

| Well, I finally moved to my new office today. I was really excited last night, about where i'll be sitting and how it is going to all pan out. So, I guess a lot of you are wondering what my new cubicle would look like. Well, I have to go and take some pictures tomorrow, but I can kinda describe it to you. For the most part, when you open the single glass door, you will see very short cubes about 9 of them. 3 on 1 side and then 6 on the other sides, and then there's a wall (that's pretty tall), that's taller than the cubicles height. Behind the wall, there's 2 leather couch chair and a table. And then there's my cubicle. Basically, if you don't know that i'm suppose to be sitting there, nobody would know at all, because the wall basically cover me up. Therefore, I wouldn't know if there's anybody on the other side at all. If I need to know if someone is here or not, i need to get up from my desk and walk around the wall to find out. Well, if it weren't for the wall, it's pretty good, because i get that side all by myself. But on the other hand, since i'm on the 2nd floor, and it's open to downstairs (Retail Banking and Lobby), it's very noisy. All the people that's going to the bank, the cell phone, it's really bad.
I'm very glad that in about 27 working days, i'll be moving to the chase center as BNY employees. At least, by then, i'll be close to my group and together, rather than being all isolated.
Pictures later to show you my new cubicle.

| What do update ??? I've been trying to update on my xanga, but i don't have that much exciting stuff to talk about. Let's see....I went over to one of my friend's house in Humble, TX. You might wonder where it is, but it's really really far from my house here in Sugar Land. It's sooo far that she wonder why i don't go there more often to see her kids. Well, 2 weekends ago, it was her daughter, Emma, 1 year old birthday. So, I decide to make the trip up there and sure did i make it last. I was there from 3pm till 1 am. It was soo nice to see my friend, Roni, and of course her daughter. I'll post some pictures later once i get them from my friend.
This year, i'll be moving to different cubicle / offices 2x this year. 1st one was suppose to be 1 month ago, but it was pushed back till finally last friday. So, I spend most of last week cleaning my desk, and packing up my stuff. It's a good thing for me to be moving offices, but on the other hand, it's a bit sad because i've been so used to where i'm sitting for the last 3.5 years. I'll be working with different group of people, sitting kinda all by myself. My lunch buddy, Janet is still on the 51st floor, and my carpool / free ride buddy, Melanie, is still on my old team. I won't get to see them that much, and i'm going to miss them a lot. I'll definitely miss the clients / most of the deals that i worked out while i was at my old team. At the same time, i get to work again with one of my former client.
Less than 1 month, it will be my cousin's wedding, at the same time, it will be a family reunion time, b/c all of the family / cousins are flying into town from all over (Corpus, Dallas, Hawaii, Indiana, Hawaii, & HK). I can't wait for the family reunion time.
Check out the new phone that Nokia N-Series. N93. It has everything from a Video Camera, Camera, MP3, WiFi, GPS, & even possible office. The video / picture quality is not bad at all. Hopefully, the price is go down couple more hundred bucks , and then i'm going to see if i can get that phone.

| What an awesome experience at NO !!!!Well, last week I was in New Orleans on my Mission Trip. It's been a long time where I went on a mission trip, and was away from Home. This year our Mission Trip consisted on "ALL DAY" VBS for the kids. Our schedule was packed and long. Kids would start showing up at 8am and the last kids usually doesn't leave closed to 6pm. That's longer than my working days. We would have lessons and Opening Ceremony from 9 - 11:45am. And then there's an 1 hr long of lunch break. In the afternoon, it would be our rotations for different activities, ie. Music, Crafts, Bible Games, Mission & Recreation. Usually, I'll just be helping with the crafts and stuff. But this year, crafts was done by all the members of New Orleans Chinese Baptist Church (NOCBC), so that means i had to pick something else. So, I pick MUSIC. That's right. Up on the stage, teaching kids how to do the hand motions, dance and sing. It was so weird for me to be standing on the stage singing and stuff.
Our first day was a big messed, because we would be done with our lessons, and thought it's almost time for lunch. Then we realize that we still have like over an 1 hr left. That was the longest morning ever. After the first night, all of us came together and thought about it. We thought of movies time before, & after VBS and during our 1 hr lunch break to entertain all at the same time with some Disney Movies. We watched "Robots", "El Dorado" & "Prince of Egypt". The best and funny movie has to be "ROBOTS". You should go watch it or even buy it, if you haven't seen it yet.
I love all the kids in NOCBC. They loved to sing and really get into the motions and stuff. The helpers were great also. I was so touch that some of kids would want to keep in touch with me afterward and i even got gifts.
On the other hand, the drives there and back was horrible. It took us 7 hours to get there, and 8.5 hours back. I'm never driving there again. Next year when we go back...we're soooo flying there...
Here are some of the pictures of some of my kids, and all the people that went to Mission this year.
