| How many of us have been in a worship service where it seems like the crowd is just going through the motions? We all have. I really believe that revival is on the way for the Christian church. Pretty soon it’s not going to matter whether you are Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, or whatever. During worship we need to give everything up. Worship is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit flowing through us. I truly believe that we can not truly worship with a ball and chain following us around. I believe that all the junk in our lives needs to go before we worship God. He expects us to come to Him with a pure heart. Let me let you in on a little secret: If you are struggling with things in your life, you know you don’t have to. The battle is not Yours’ it is the Lord’s. Why you ask, Jesus won the battle 2000 years when He died on that cross. All this junk can be given to Him in a matter of seconds, all we have to do is ask. Never doubt my Jesus for one second. My question is, are we really worshiping, or are we pretending to worship. Worship should be a daily thing, not just once a week. I am starting to see this at my church (Northwood Temple). Before we worship, and we proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord over Northwood Church and Satan is not allowed in this place. Believe me, it makes a difference. | | |
| Hello people,
Let me just say that it has been a wonderful thanksgiving. The best about it was that i got paid to drive to INDY with my grandpa. Hopefuly, i will get an intern with a computer company either in Raleigh or Fayetteville this summer and i won't have drive as much maybe. But for now, i'm enjoying watching my 3-0 Heels, baby!!! and chanting: WE WANT DUKE, WE WANT DUKE!!!! Okay, i'm done now......see ya on the other side.....PEACE!!!!
oh yeah, IT's near about Christmas Time.......so excited!!!!!
Enjoy the nice UNC blue for this entry
| Hey, me again
Let me just say that today was awesome. I'm completely wore slap out, but it was still aweseome. The most exciting thing that happened today was the youth service at Northwood Temple in Fayetteville. It is worth every minute of the forty minute drive to go to it. I feel like lately, that Northwood Temple as a whole is getting ready to absolutely explode. I'm not saying this as a bad thing; I mean God is moving in every service and people are being affected. No longer are we sitting around going through the motion's. This only scratches the surface of what is yet to come. Lately both the Youth pastor and Senior cannot even get in a sermon because the spirit is so strong in the church. I believe there is going to come a time when nothing is going matter any more; school, work, job, whatever it may be. You may think i'm crazy, but I think we need to get ready for what God has for us. We have an average of over 100 every night at Crosswalk. Tonight, about 30 people quit living a lie, and became clean. There was a massive prayer and praise/worship service for over 2 hours tonight. I just believe that this place is gonna break loose one of this day's, and i don't want to miss it. the message going around church the past few months is, God wants you to come to Him pure; not this one day a week deal. He wants His church ready for His next great move. Words cannot describe what is going on right now. I encourage anyone that doesn't have a church, or wants to visit a church for a Sunday, please come to Northwood Temple Church in Fayetteville. We have 2 services on Sunday: one @ 8:30 and another one @ 11...the directions are quite simple: 401 south in Fayetteville (aprox 30 miles from lillington...church is on the left, you will pass the I-295 interchange, and also Methodist College) Or visit us on the web: Northwoodtemple.org
~I am not bragging with this at all, I am simply pouring out my heart of what I think God is getting to do....I am very excited about the future!!!
If you have any questions about this or your faith please IM me anytime, I will never be too busy to talk, because your life weighs in the balance!!!

| It's been a while since i wrote on this thing. Let me just cut to the chase, it has been a very fast and emotional semester. Every day I pray for wisdom and guidence from God as to where my life is headed. I have a pretty good idea, but that dosen't count. God has someone out there for me if I will just listen for Him. Anyway, enough of that. The weather is awesome, i love the fall weather. Sports wise it doesn't get any better; my panthers are 4 - 2 baby!!! I feel another super bowl run coming. Next month starts college baskettball. Yes Carolina fans, it will be a time to defend our National Title. I don't care who we lost, under Roy and his 4 awesome recruits, we'll be okay. But with the way the media is talking, they might as well go ahead and give the dern thing to Duke!!! Just like last year, they said Wake was going all the way....WRONG!!! Only time will tell and the boys in light blue will prevail, (typing with finger's crossed...lol)
This is for all the NCSU and Duke fans (heck how bout the rest of the nation...lol)
I'm a tarheel born, I'm a tarheel bread
And when I die i'm a tarheel dead
So ra ra carolina lina
ra ra carolina lina
ra ra carolina ra ra
GO HEELS!!!
~What.......I love my team, get off me and let me have my moment!!!
Unitl next time, everyone be good and stay safe....MARK!!!
| Well, the semister is in full swing and it actually feels kinda good. I hope to have a nice start grade wise this semester. The new building has ups and downs but overall it is pretty nice I should say. This past week has been very hecktic with the news media. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of Hurricane Katrina. Over time and with alot of prayers things will return to normal, but not overnight. I firmly believe that this is just another sign that the return of Christ is drawer closer day by day. Anyway, Duke lost to ECU on Saturday in the battle of the last place for college football. Carolina could even beat ECU, that sad if your a Duke fan. For now, peace!!! | | |
