  • Week 2 of work...

Yep, I have been working for two weeks now... well not really. Last week I was in Midland the first half of the week for safety training/ meeting people in the office. You all know how much safety training sucks. It may be slightly different topics I was going through but if you have been to one safety training class then you pretty much know how all safety classes go.

After that was over... I went on this awesome geological field trip tot he guadalupe mountains/ licoln national forest. (sarcasm)... This trip was advertised as an engineering excersion on extensive hikes through complicated trails and over life threatening cobra pits and ten mile rock climbs. Did I get any of that? no. It was all geology, no hiking.

You know how when roads are built through mountains how they blast away part of the mountain and you can see the inside of the formations as you drive by?? Well we would just pull over on the side of the road half the time and the geologists would use big words I can't remember to descrive events causing the formations and different adjectives describing characteristics of fossils inside the rock.

Now thats over and I've started my first real week of work. It was gone pretty well so far.

I hope yall are having a blast this summer.

  • I am now in Carlsbad!

I've just got all settled into my new home in Carslbad, New Mexico. I also start work in two days... its kind of scary but also very exciting at the same time.

The past few weeks have been great. I can't think of any better way to end the last break before I start the next chapter of my life. I hope yall have a good summer (those of you who still have school left)

  • 4 days left

Only 4 days left until I leave for New Mexico.

So far I've had a blast this summer, I went to Cabo San Lucas with Taylor and her mom. There we did tons of stuff like... swim with dolphins, horseback riding, swimming on the beach and resort, snorkeling and the list goes on. I had so much fun.

Now I'm just hanging around Katy gathering things I need that they won't have in Carlsbad and soaking up my last big break.

I hope yall have a great summer!

About Me

  • I enjoy staying busy, watching or playing all sports, working out, getting the weekly free songs off of itunes, eating, hanging out with friends and Taylor. Nothing feels better to me than the satisfaction of accomplishing something very difficult.
