  • So I should probably make this site easier to read, I guess I'll have to go through the fonts and the templates to pick something nicer.

So this past week.  The day after the City Hall incident, my roommate and I threw a cocktail party on our roof.  Mad ppl coming over, all New York City type, gorgeous looking ppl. "Man do I totally NOT fit in lol"  I'm the only non-blond hair blue-eyed fabulous looking fellow/gal.  Everyone's like upper 20's: gone everywhere, some married some just dating...ppl discussing all sortsa of things from travelling all over europe on 150 bucks, to specific villas in Italy, seeing the sites in australia, etc... (Man I feel so behind!)

Anyhow, everyone's enjoying their evning on a thursday night, drinking wine, vodka tonics, and watever else ppl were making...someone mistakened our cocktail for a christmas party and bought eggnog.  Anyhow, things got interesting cause as people were leaving, there was an apparent robbery attempt on a store next to my apt, so tehre were cops everywhere.

all of my roommates friends were getting furniture and equipment off the roof back into our apt...so then i stuck my head out of my living room window to see a huge spotlight shinging on me and 4 cops below screaming, there's a guy up there, then my roommate who was a "LITTLE" buzzed was on teh roof leaning over with a speaker in his arms.  The cops immedialy put the spotlight on him and shout, GUY ON THE ROOF .. GO TO THE ROOF....

so then my other roommate gets a call: "hey, this is Dave, I just left the buildling and I'm being held @ gunpoint, apparently the cops don't know who the culprit is and they are just gathering up everyone leaving your buildling because it seems suspicious that we are all leaving just right now"

so then the cops come up the stairs and go to the roof in search of the GUY they saw earlier ( who is my roommate)  by that time my roommate has already gotten back to my apt..

but since he's buzzed and wants to find out what's giong on, he runs back up on the roof and goes flying out the door literally.  probably scared the cops shitless, cause he then comes back into the apt saying the cops pointed a gun @ him and said " what are you stupid!! do you want to get shot!! what are you doing here!"

my roommate = "no i live here, what's going on?"

cop = "get ur #$$$ back into ur apt"

my roommate = " yes sir!" runs back in..

so yeah in hindsight everything was quite funny....and it was definitely an interesting party..

Next thing on the agenda, I have a new roommate moving in on Thursday. This is cause the roommate that was running around before up on the roof, is going to cornell to finish his masters in architecture. So I'll be living with 3 females now. Intersting, but I'm still the baby of the apt! Now we got, me @ 24, my new roommate @ 25, 28 and 33.

  • City Hall, right next to the Police Station and look what happens today:

People sometimes just don't solve their problems the best way.  Wish there was more we could do to help everyone out.  I hope one day people will learn not to take everything so seriously.

Life is more than just accomplishments.

It's about what you can take from your experiences the good and the bad.  It's about learning, being a child to the world, yet a role model to ur own children and all children.  It's about experiencing self-harmony and the acceptance of defeat and the humility of winning.  It's about dreaming and sharing dreams, it's about lending a shouldar to lean on, or an ear for someone.  it's about giving directions to that person who is running late, about giving someone a bite to eat who might not otherwise get it, it's about giving and not taking.  Selflessness is hard to realize but that's what it really is about.  When you help someone else instead of thinking only about yourself and what predicament you are in, u really realize how much u take for granted.

well to all my friends and to people i have yet to meet, i'll always lend an ear and a helping hand. take care all and be safe!

  • MAN!  Did anyone get caught out in that rain?  Good thing I live close to work, I just went home to have lunch instead and changed.  Step out to come back to work, and BAM starts raining like it's the end of the world.  My umbrella is on it's last leg, I need to get a poncho =P  Naw, I'll get one of these humungous Citigroup Umbrellas ...

Bumped into an interesting fellow who who works on sets for Gap, Victoria Secret, and the likes...he says models suck..they are like 5 year old babies who constantly need attention.... his quote ---> "don't matter how good they look, at the end of the day you wanna kill em"
