I don't know what's happened... I suddenly find it more of a chore to post on here then fun or entertaining like it used to be. It might possibly be that my life doesn't boil down to anything more than school, work, eating & sleeping nowadays... oh yeah, that's right... that's what it's always been. I must have been kidding myself that my life was actually interesting enough to talk about. It seemed to work for a while there. So... no, I'm not closing down my Xanga... but I probably won't be posting on it very much (as you can probably tell by the date of my last post). So ttyl for now.

Wow, vacation was awesome! I had so much fun! Meeting KB's family was neat... and boating, tubing, knee-boarding, and attempting to ski was a lot of fun! I was very sad to leave. It rained every day we were there except Tuesday. We got to boat a lot anyway though.

Somehow the girls & boys staying at the lake managed to start a fued. It was hilarious. The girls struck first. *evil laugh* I found some mousse under a sink in the house... which turned out to serve our purpose well. We set Virginia's alarm for 4:30am. When the time came, I woke everyone up, then KB, Virginia and I all crept through 6 doors (yes, we counted)... ALL the way down to the boat house to where the three boys (Bryant, Jesse, and Zach) were sleeping. I then put mousse all Bryant and Jesse's heads (we didn't get around to Zach). Bryant woke up and said, "Jesse...??" Jesse woke up... paused, then... "The GIIRRLLS!" Hahahaha... wow, that was priceless. The boys never got us back... but it was sure fun. Wow... I'll never forget that. I can't wait 'till KB puts up all the pictures of the vacation. YAY!

I never seem to have time to post, or have anything interesting to say. Work's been going okay. Because Dustin is out of town, I have Kindergarten all by myself this week... all 25-30 of them. Don't you feel sorry for me? I feel sorry for me. I'm definitely tired right now.

Our first Swim Meet was last night. I think I did okay... I guess I'll find out tonight. I was fuming mad after my freestyle heat. I hardly had put on my goggles when the guy hit the buzzer... UGH! That made me furious. **let it go Kelly, let it go**

Tomorrow night I go over to the Groover's to spend the night... then we're off to GEORGIA! Yay, I need a vacation. We're going to KB's Grandparent's lake house... fun stuff. So yeah... that's all for now.

COUNSELOR IDOL UPDATE!

So, after going through all that trouble and telling y'all that I was to perform on Thursday (today), I actually ended up having to do our performance on Tuesday. It was... interesting. I did it with Emily and Jamie, so it wasn't too bad. Jamie is crazy, so it made it a little easier on Emily and I. Jamie dressed up in a purple-shear toga, put a red bandana on her head (sticking straight up), used large pink & plastic rings for earrings, and a very large inside hockey stick for a microphone. Emily and I put bandanas in our hair, picked up random instruments, and stood to the side being "background dancers/singers" as Jamie made a fool of herself and danced crazily to "I will Survive". It was awful... really. But we don't really want to win, because if we make it to the top 2, then we have to do it OVER again tomorrow afternoon. Ugh... that would not be fun. I was so relieved when it was over. Phew!

Yesterday was Jim's "Counselor Idol" turn. I must say, his topped even the boys' performance on Monday. We were all VERY entertained when he appeared as William Hung :*:chuckle:*: . He had his hair slicked back, a button up shirt on, and his pants hiked up as far as they'd go. He did an awful rendition of "She Bangs", which thoroughly did it's purpose. That was funny... but not even the best part. My boss (Christin) then asked him if he would "share some dance moves with us". We all watched as Jim did an AWESOME dance rendition to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". Oh my gosh...! I laughed so hard I cried. It was the best. He's so gonna win, I know it. He has my vote at least. =]

Well let's see, life has been interesting lately... to say the least. I'm busier than I've been in a while. I have to work every afternoon, so that skims off a few hours that I used to use for school. Work is a little tiring, but keeps my life flavored... if you know what I mean. This week for assembly (at the end of the day all the grades get together and we do things together... led by 3 different counselors each day) we're doing "Counselor Idol". It's a spin off of American Idol. So yeah ::coughcough:: that's interesting. Yesterday's was hilarious. Ben, Dustin, & another guy got dresses up in random costumes. One had a Grinch mask on and the other two had different masks. Dustin was wearing a purple shear cape with a santa-clause hat on top of his mask. Ben was in a full star-wars type robe. They came out with hoola-hoops and proceeded to try hoola-hooping with their costumes on... which didn't quite work (but it entertained the kids *cackle*). Then they randomly danced to the Backstreet Boy's "Backstreet's Back" song (courtesy of ME of course). It was great... made me laugh. The kids loved it. So yeah, that was funny. I'm dreading my turn, which will prolly be on Thursday. I'll let you know how that goes, I'm NOT looking forward to it at all. *sigh* We'll see what happens... I have NO clue what my group is planning.

Today was my Math Final. I think I did okay. I didn't study TOO much, 'cause Mr. B usually gives us really easy Math Finals. So I wasn't too surprised with how easy it was. Good times.

Okay, back to life now. I'm going to eat lunch.
