So after swimming this morning, I was walking to the Busch Student Center to wait for the bus...and this is what i see....

...WHAAT the?! i'm gone for a couple weeks and a mushroom grows on the bus bench. is it even warm enough for fungus to grow like that? then upon closer inspection... we found that it was actually a paper napkin scultptured by some really boreed person. kinda sad. but then both me and yanshu looked at each other at the same time and was like.. PICTURES!?. we're prettty sad too. hehe.

So its our friend Liz's 21st Birthday and the fun starts with us blindfolding her.

We take her to After Athens this Greek restaurant/cafe to celebrate. We all shared a Houka. just for fun. Liz the birthday girl choose the flavor...cherry. It was alright. dont think i like it that much but its something to try once in your life i guess. looks illegal right. i used to think it looked like a bong. According to Cyn its just kinda like flavored smoke and really safe n doesnt damage your lungs. Supposed to give u a nice feeling not really getting high tho..but i didnt feel a thing..maybe i inhaled wrong.

Went to an all you can eat hotpot/bbq place in Brooklyn. Mmmm. why are we traveling all the way from jersey to Bklyn for hotpot... Well we used to live in Brooklyn so my mom was gonna visit old family friends on the way anyways.

Heres the food we're grilling. Me and my sis stuffing ourselves.

Went home this weekend and was making dumplings with my mom. Check out my brother's creation.

The cranes look cute but not that tasty without the meat.
And here's my creations:
Almond Truffles......its actually pretty easy to make. I already have marriage proposals from 2 of my apartment mates. ^_^ But anyone can make this if they follow the recipe. Try www.allmyrecipes.com. Has recipes for all kinds of goodies.
Man, This xanga is starting to become like my baking diary.

Lots happened in HongKong this summer. I got my hair permed inthe hongkong style. Was kinda scared it end up lookingtoo crazy but came out pretty well i think.

We got to have dimsum with our family in Hongkong almosteveryday. My lil cousin is soooo adorable.

      Went to Thailand with family in hongkong

Wegot to feed some crocodiles while we were on a boat out in the middleof a crocodile pond. But now that i think bak on it. It waskinda dangerous. We would have some raw chicken at the end of afishing pole and go up to this lil platform at the end of the boat andkinda tease the crocs by dangling the meat up and down. So scaredthat i was gonna get yanked down too. Yea my aunt got a good picof my scared face. Plus the boat was only caged on 2 sides. If the crocs ever got smart enough to ram on one side of the boat, itcould have capsized and they could just swim right in on the open endand had a buffet instead.   yea i think too much whatif's.

Tried parasailing for the first time ever in Thailand. Veryexhilarating. so much fun to look at the water several feet belowyou. Only bad thing was that i was too light to go up alone sosomeone had to go up along with me. Or else i guess i might havea hard time coming bak down. Kinda crazy tho, the guy that went up withme didnt even strap on any harness. Just hopped on and grabbed onto thestrings above me. I guess they're used to it.@_@

Here's a little timeline:

Nov. '05....me, Yanshu, & Cynthia went to see Chicken Little in 3-Dglasses r soo cute...just like the one chik lil wears.

Dec.24 Christmas w/ Fio, Van, Adri, Jessika, Liz, Cyn

We got this variety cheesecake. but i think next time we'll stick to traditional. Pumpkin and cranberry crumble should just be limited to pies. Aleast the NYstyle and chocolate ones were good.

Dec.29th....Christmas in New York is so wonderful. Just went out to NYC with my sister to do a lil shopping for my secret santa....yeah, its after xmas but we didnt have time to get presents with exams and all.
