singapoorahhh was great!had loads of fun there.took tonnes of pictures.april cheah almost stopped smiling for me i have my sister to thank for this holiday. she planned and organized everything to the smallest detail. even the junkfood to eat in the car while we watched our movies during the long journey. so because i took soooooo many pictures it will be ridiculous to actually upload it here on my blog. i know i know i can choose just a few a put it up here. but i want to show ALL the pictures!hahaha so i rather not post any here lah...it's all on my facebook.

then the malacca trip was the same as all the other malacca trips i've had. we spent most of the time going around everywhere in malacca finding for food. my dad's favourite kueh teow soup with fishball can no longer be found and he's getting so upset that all the old old uncles and aunties never pass on their talents to the younger generation. and then there was my dad's cousin's 71st birthday party. it was almost like a wedding dinner.hahaha i had a fun time watching all the older generation berjoget-joget. not bad you know, they still can shake their bumbums quite well!heh

met alot of relatives there.had a very VERY hard time putting together which is my uncle, aunty, great-aunty, cousin, niece, nephew etc.etc. dad got fed-up trying to explain about his big big family. so *sigh* everyone also my family lah!

but this one i know. this lil baby is my distant distant nephew.heheh

but i came back from malacca feeling all miserable. not really sure why. but i think it's coz of the guilt i felt for not doing anything productive in the nerding area for this entire raya break. and the break is now over. haven't even done my pbl and i'm so far behind for my lecture notes

ok, will stop whining and start doing something about it now.

*hmnp! i WILL get my 'i made it' picture one day! and it'll be perfect in less than three jumps!

i've been wanting to post up pictures of my weekend random family trip for a long time now. just didn't have the time until now. me little family just went to Fraser's for a one night stay. there's nothing to do there anyway besides enjoy the fresh air. but before that we had to drop by at this ' Landscape and Garden festival ' thingy cause daddy just had to tunjuk muka there abit abit first la..

but then mum said "they might be selling orchids or some other plants there right?let's all go have a look".

so the two budak perempuan cannot stay in the car...must teman the parents down and look at plantssssssssssssszzzzzz. but it's ok, after jie jie started working and me staying in bukit jalil during weekdays, we barely have nice quality family time. and at that time i was on holiday, nothing better to do anyway. so here are picturesss...mostly of me and my sister being jakuns. heh

did you knowwwwwwwww.... my mum is now a retiree? hehehe now instead of getting banana muffins only on weekends. i get cinnamon rolls, fruit cakes, home made yoghurt on weekdays too!! well, when i was on holiday lah...now back to uni already, only get them on weekends again.

about four weeks back, we celebrated mum's retirement at wendy's in sunway. quite a nice place, good food, friendly owners...they talked to us as though they knew us our entire life.hahahah i must try their american breakfast soon, was supposed to go with reuben but the shop wasn't ready for breakfast yet at 10.30 a.m. apparently their breakfast slot only starts at 11 a.m. and goes on for the WHOLE dayy!!karmen thinks it's cool to have breakfast at any time of the day. coz she's a pig pig and wakes up late most of the time(sorry kar).hahaha

oh!we celebrated our parent's 27th anniversary yesterday. but i think you all have enough pictures to look at already.. at the end of the day, it'll always be my face, my sister's face and my face again. heh

i can't remember the last time i sat down to play with my little cousins. the last time i placed them on my lap and asked them about their lil mischiefs, their boyfriends/girlfriends (oh yes..these kids have a couple of ex-es each already-_-), their current interests and hobbies (there's always a new hobby or a new favourite-thing-to-do). and because i'm always the busy jie jie, always the jie jie that needs to study, always the jie jie that locks herself up in the room after dinner, i feel as though i've missed out on a whole big chunk of their growth in life.

and now, they've grown and i have to ask them to come and tell me their stories. unlike last time they'll just tell me about everything under the sun.soon enough, i'll have to FORCE them to even sit and talk with me..soon enough.but last sunday, they came over and after dinner baby christine went:

"jie jie chui mei, would you come play with us please?"

and finally this time because i'm still on holiday i could actually say:
"yes!hang on for awhile ya".

and they waited patiently for me to get a few things done first. didn't even start off without me first.and they gave such big smiles when i finally came to play with them..*sigh* my lovely cousins

my two favourite cousin brothers (L: bryan, R: isaac). very few cousin BROTHERS in my family.so ya, they're my sayangs.
and each time it was baby christine's turn to take out another block she'll whine " i want to play happy familyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" *pout*

so fine, we played happy family. it went something like this.

isaac: christine, do you have a daisy dose?
christine: *sulks* you can't have her!i've already collected three of the dose family members!!!*whines* ask for someone else.

he asked for another person. and soon enough the game wasn't going anywhere.

so her brother, bryan talked to her:
" bee/by (short for baby) must be honest, if you have the card must really say you have the card and you must also give up the card when people ask for it."

she listened for awhile before giving up on the game herself.hahah the sweetest part was her ko ko bryan calling her bee . hehe so loving la.

2 more weeks and i'm back to uni... this holiday is definitely one that i truly appreciate. it's not like i went anywhere interesting or did something out of the ordinary. it's just nice, you know. enough time to meet my friends, enough time with my family and enough alone time. so niceee lahh..i don't want it to end. i don't know how i'll manage to get back into gear for the endocrine, renal and reproductive system. but if it's interesting enough then it should be pretty easy... i guess.

anyways, i've always loved picture-full blogs. i really don't like typing words all that much. so, here are the pictures from our 5 days of electives.
