So I'm applying for this internship next semester and they say that they prefer if you know how to work with photoshop but it isn't required. I figured it would probably be good for me to be at least somewhat familiar so I decided to take a friend's advice and try digital-scrapbooking as a way to learn (and have fun).

I am such a LOSER... I'm absolutely hooked. I fucking love this shit. And the best part is that there is so much free stuff online so far I havent had to pay anything for all the little accessories.

Here are two that I made (in chronological order). The first is of my cousin, the second of Willa the girl I babysit. How cute are they????

We decided to be experimental with our dinner tonight

and try adding tofu, onions, raisins, cumin, and brown sugar to rice.

(I know, my life is exciting). It turned out pretty well and

was a nice change of pace from the crap I've been eating lately

and trying to pass of as a reasonable meal. (mexican food=chips and salsa)

Ali and Bridget's October Visit

I actually only have one picture from this weekend but plenty of stories as usual. It made me very happy to see these girls again... and as always we spent a good amount of time having the "we are so lucky to have such good friends" conversation. The rest of the time was spent talking about men, sex, and the future. Go figure. ;)

Yesterday (Wednesday Sept. 21) Heidi and I went to see the Yankees play the Orioles. I know very little about baseball apart from what I learned in the few high school gym classes devoted to it that I did not actually skip... But it was great to see Heidi!! :) And to pretend like I knew what was going on. And the Yankees did win. Anyways here are 2 pics from that.
