More waiting

Well, back to more tests and more waiting. Please keep praying for them.Joan

I just got back from the Rheumatologist, and truthfully am frustrated. He totally disagrees with the Dermatologist on the Diagnosis and thinks we are missing something. He said the Rash I have is the wrong type rash for the other Diagnosis. He is basically questioning if the Oncologist missed something. So I am getting them together to discuss all this through my regular Doctor. He did though start me on low dose of Prednisone. which is a steroid. That should at least relieve some of the Rash discomfort. I won't go into all the possibilities he mentioned, but I got the impression that he is not satisfied with the conclusion of no Cancer. Love you and thank you for your continuous Prayers.Scott

Oh, I know that is frustrating. I deal with so many doctors, and been so frustrated when I knew what the problem was, but I couldn't get the doctor to see it. I literally have to research my own problems on the internet to present them to doctors. That's what they go to medical school for. If you ask a question to 10 different doctors, you'll probably get 12 different answers.

Praying now. Heading to court with my sister shortly.

RYC: yes, I'm always relieved when he has an appointment with his oncologist and they say everything is ok.  His next appointment isn't until the end of November, and they said he's not allowed to come unless he brings the baby with him!  lol  Now we're just waiting to hear good results from Scott's doctors as well....definitely still praying...

RYC: I definitely agree with you about my mother--I am so blessed!  I pray that Lucy and I are able to have a close relationship like my mother and I do.  I keep asking Michael, "Do you think she's going to like us??!"  lol

We love you very much, Mema Joan!!

I am praying for Scott and his family just now. It is frustrating enough dealing with a condition, but it becomes even more frustrating when the doctors think they know what it is, and yet don't agree with each other.

RYC: Apricot cobbler . . . I love cobblers; I'm not really that familiar with apricot; I've had it but it wasn't a favorite, but I'm just betting that your mom's cobbler would win me over on apricots! Do you bake it now yourself?

God's Blesssings on you . . . Carolyn

Carolyn, Thank you for praying for Scott.  He is feeling some better, but still not sure what he had.  They will keep doing testing and keep searching.

My mom and dad had apricot trees and these were fresh for the cobbler.  MMMMM!!!!  good.  No, I don't do the apricot cobblers.  They wouldn't be as good since I don't have them fresh off the tree.  I wish I could get some fresh.  We have a pear tree and I don't even like pears.  LOL

Hope you have a blessed Monday and of course the rest of the week too.    Hugs, Joan

I love apricots. And I'm the only one in this family that does. When I was little Mamma use to buy the dried apricots and cook them till tender, adding brown sugar. Then we would put them on biscuits. That's heaven to me.
