heyyo. XD Just back from BAND CAMP. Actually not really lah. Yesterday but I've been like busy busy busy since reaching home from band camp. Anyway, here you go.
Band camp on a whole was rather fun. Er counting the fact that we kind of screwed up lah. But we can do better. XD YELLOWS dun be too sad okay! Sigh. Showering in PE toilet was cool! There were showers okay. Over with the pails and hoses and ice cream tubs! Yay. (:
NOMS was okay. I think my playing was kind of horrible. Among the horns, Lijie did the best for the sight reading lah. Oh well. But Grace Ho's nice. She helped record the three of our playings! I predict the four green horns will be able to fit into our section pretty well. XD I have nice juniors.
Conducting the next day was okayyyy. Apparently I did the best? Oh well. I'm not really expecting any high post lah. And we played old songs! Pirates, Grease, Lion King and Concerto! Songs we would like never play again in the future. Leonie and Jacq conducted the songs they conducted for conducting last year!
I'll miss the RED badge. They're like our immediate seniors. They've given us much advice and care... They've all put their best into band and made it nice for all of us. They've helped us clich that silver. Even though it's not as good as previously, but I think we could not have done it without them.
And now the baton will be passed to YELLOW. We'll be the leading batch in FOUR days. Looking at it, it's really quite scary. Now we'd no longer have the support of seniors, we'd have to be independent and stand together. It's so fast. I still can remember our first band prac in sec one.
Oh well. Shall not think about it too much. I'll leave the reflecting to POP. Back to mole concept.
