Starting the busy day...
Got on to the tram at 1200 noon, went to the bank and had the teller checked with my account balance. My landlord withdrew AUS$1151.30 from my bank account without a valid reason. I have found out the amount that he has withdrawn is the amount for my first month rental, my bond, and the utility fees for renting the room in Caulfield, Melbourne. Anyway, I have written him an email and hope thing will be solved as soon as possible.
Resolving the bank account issue...
Got out of the bank, immediately there was a Tram waiting outside (for me, hehe! I am always that lucky). Driven by the Tram driver down to city. This time I took another Tram no.16, which I have not taken before previously, so this Tram was going a different route. Anyway, reached the city in a couple of minutes. Got out and get straight to Optus (one of the Mobile Phone Service Provider in Australia).
Getting a plan for my mobile...
I have got everything with me that Optus requires me to. Have everything filled up and Sarah, the salesperson, came to me and said Optus does not recognize my E-Visa at all, so I was forced to go to the immigration and told how to get there.
Rush hours and Immigration...
I have walked about 8 blocks to get to the Immigration which is located at Spring St. from Elizabeth St. where I initially was. Got there at sharped 1330 and when I saw the business hours (Weekdays 0900 - 1600, Wednesday 0900 - 1330) of the immigration, I was hoping the guard would let me in, anyway, this time I was unlucky, nobody always has the lucks with one.
Risky risk...
When I got onto the Tram previously, I bought a 2 hours ticket, which means after 2 hours later, my ticket will become invalid. So, I took a Tram from the immigration to the Melbourne Central Station to get a train back. Got into the station, it was 1353. I looked at my time, my ticket was 7 minutes away from the expiration. Usually during lunch time, there will be plenty of inspectors around to validate passengers' tickets, once one is found the invalid of one's ticket, one will be fined for AUS$200. Lucky me this time, I spent 10 minutes inside the train then got out of the train safely, lucky me this time.
Meeting for the ever first week...
Just started my uni this week, only had 2 classes for 2 subjects which means 1 for each subject. And there is meeting going on, my friends find it very weird, so do I. Why do I have to get involved so soon? I guess this is uni life.
