| The world's a huge place.
It also moves really fast.
There are a lot of things to fill up that huge space, and they move really fast too.
Sometimes, things move so fast, you want to see what it's like to stop. You stop and stare out at the moving world, and yell as hard as you can, just to see if someone hears you.
Sometimes no one does. And it's excellent! suddenly the world is yours and the privacy is yours to yell to your hearts content until you can't yell anymore. Then you return to everyday harmonious entropy, and join the fast-moving things in a huge filled-up space.
Othertimes, there are other people yelling too. It might be just one, it might be a few more. When you have more than just one person yelling, it's more than the sound of one person yelling alone. And that means that if you couldn't hear the voice of one, you can hear the put-together voices of two now. And they're loud enough that sometimes you can hear yourselves and it's loud enough to hear just yourself too.
Maybe you didn't hear yourself because life was too loud, but with two of you, you can definitely hear yourself now, and maybe you get to hear a friend as well.
Hey, you guys sound pretty good! You sound alright yourself too, and maybe you never noticed before.
Goodbye, high school!
I never knew you well enough, but I'll always have fond memories. A few of which are on the giant expanse of the internet.
-a belated farewell

| hello, everybody.
wallowing in the recesses of university, i've realized something.
the meaning of life is to be at peace with yourself.
and being at peace with myself is being as mature as I can be.
and for me, maturity is not acting like an adult, or knowing what to say all the time (well ok maybe that.), but having experienced everything you've had the pleasure to experience while having learned from it.
What have I learned from the last four years of highschool?
I need to think long and hard.
Then everything will fall in place. But only after I'm done thinking.
I have set goals. I actually do care about standards and performance, but I've never put it in academics, but soon enough I will. I have to, if I'm in the U of S and T.
but I'm almost as mature as I feel like I should be today. In high school, I was almost as much as I thought I would have been years and years ago, but the gap's closing.
Then everything will fall in place.
I have until spring semester.
Holy crap life begins.
This coming January.
At a university that may not be near you, but near me. : )
love and peace.
jul.
hope to see you highschoolers back at christmas!

| IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie
Opening Credits: Jamiroquai - Everybody's Going to the Moon - heh, that's a pretty awesome opening. spacemanlike.
Waking Up: Kool and the Gang: Open Sesame - This song's arabian nights gone funky. er. so you can imagine that.
First Day At School: Jackson 5 - The Life of the Party - you'll be the life of the party- yes you will! boogie shigga boogie shigga bam bam bam :>
Falling In Love: Clazziquai Project - Come Alive - Actually pretty appropriate. This is a chill lounge-ish song with female vocals.
Fight Song: Andrea Mendoza - Can't Fake It - "Here I am. I'm ready willing and able". somewhat appropriate? It sounds like a fight I'm winning.
Breaking Up: Hitch Soundtrack - This is How I feel - super appropriate. I never watched hitch, but they prolly used the song kind of like it. :P
Prom: Sean Paul - Shake It - I sure hope my prom date does.
Life: Nelly, Jaheim - My Place - Super awesome beat. you probably know this song. apparently my life is about hitting on a woman with a husband and a son.
Mental Breakdown: Basement Jaxx - Good Luck - this fits in awesomely. I'm getting a mental breakdown hoping someone else gets a mental breakdown.
Driving: Def Cut - Def Medley - I drive fast.
Flashback: Ludacris - Pimpin' All Over the World - and I've been pimping.
Getting Back Together: Eric B and Rakim - Paid in Full - but now my girlfriend can pimp with me.
Wedding: Mousse T - Pop Muzak - but we had a trashy euro wedding.
Birth of Child: Ne-Yo - So Sick - that's why I break up with her before the first kid is born.
Final Battle: Usher - Bad Girl - So my long lost daughter comes back and kicks my ass.
Death Scene: Once on This Island - Forever Yours - HAHAHAHA. "NOW HIS LIFE IS FOREEEEEVEEEER MIIIIIIIIIIINE." Death comes personally to take me, because he made a bet that I wouldn't get it on with a black peasant girl in the French Antilles. well, considering I had a life of pimping around the world and gettin strapped for cash, I'm not so surprised I lost the bet.
Funeral Song: Sean Paul - Breathe - Does this mean I come back to life?
End Credits: Kool and the Gang - Kool and the Gang - This is the common room running song. This probably reflects everyone running because I DID breathe.
