Rainbow sherbert and taco trucks are 2 of my favorite things.

There comes a time when every man must make his stand. I don't consider myself very political.. I'm not even registered to vote.

However I was at a coffeshop tonight drinking my dark brew doing some late night work... and saw this flyer.

Maybe it was my desire to think about anything other then work, but when I read this flyer a spark was lit and burned with intensity!! It was actually probably the bitter coffee wreaking havoc on my stomach but there is some woman named GLORIA MOLINA who wants to destroy something very dear to me. She wants to get eradicate a cultural symbol of Los Angeles.... taco trucks! and send the owners to JAIL!

Every 10:30 am, the bell rings at my warehouse, and I hear a faint musical la cucuracha horn coming from the back loading dock. I liken it to the times when I would hear the repetitive twinkly music  coming down the street which would cause me to spring into action; I'd flip over the seat cushions and then run into my mom's closet and dig thru her pockets to find 75cents and run down the street in my barefeet(no time to put on shoes) to get some now extinct johnney apple treats and cherry clan from the ice cream man.

Well back to 10:30am, I try not to eat from the truck too much, but it has always been there for me. Some people refuse to eat from it in fear of possible stomach issues, but I have never had any problems. I've had more problems eating at established restaurants and one time from eating those mangoes with the salt lemon and chile from the street carts. But that specific cart owner had a talking parrot on her shoulder that she would keep kissing over and over, so that should have been a sign to steer clear.... my fault.

anyways these taco trucks have everything from spaghetti to yukejang bowl noodle, to fried chicken , to tamales etc. etc. and I have learned a lot of spanish food vocabulary from them too. onions= cebolla, avacado = aguacate, hasta manana, cuanto questa etc. etc.

These people are making an honest living, and this WOMAN GLORIA MOLINA

is on a mission to run them off the streets!! Turn her back on her own people!!! commit cultural genocide and send them to JAIL!!

I don't know anything else about her but I know enough!!!
I think us Angelenos need to unite and take a stand!
