it's quite annoying of xanga to put google ads on my page..i'm not getting a cent from it & in order to remove ads I need to upgrade to premium (read: $).
although the first and obvious response is for me to freaking leave this childish blog hosting site which is usually associated with 15 year old girls complaining about homework and the boy in their English class; the sentimental factor comes into place because all my old posts are here and secondly, it's not as if I have that much to blog about that it's worthwhile setting up a new one.
so i've come up with a temporary solution: DON'T CLICK THE ADS!!
although i doubt anyone does in the first place. case in point, example of the ads at the moment: cabin crew course, looking for friends. anyhooo if you ever get the urge to, just go google it (not that inconvenient, i'm sure you have a toolbar).
this is of course, i'm sure, a pretty rare occurence of someone publishing something on the internet requesting readers to NOT click on ads. pretty ironic considering how last night ticheng was eager to become a blogger with the very purpose of making money off of ads. anyway once again, this is not some reverse psychology shit i'm trying out. DO NOT SURRENDER TO THE ADS.
i got bored of facebook so i headed to...youtube & clicked on this..
which happened to be john mayer playing JT's I think she knows interlude. except you don't see his face (and we all know how youtube is full of wannabe musicians)
anyway, the comments are freaking hilarious.. people can be so polite behind their online identities :P
anyway it's actually really good and i can't stop listening to it
so i just got an e-mail inviting me to attend an interview for a management trainee role. i feel like i want to work there just for the brands-- it's that huge company: cosmetics, beauty, perfumes.. no further hints needed-- shieeet it's funny what lures me. (considering my surprising loyalty as a a current nonemployee: i didn't even bother to set up my interview with the largest bank like i was supposed to & i couldn't make it for an interview at a local investment bank because they were being conducted last month when i wasn't around) nevermind. i think i will head for the 'fun stuff' only after i've burnt out -_-
speaking of jobs and all CONGRATULATIONS to my dear friend... who'll be starting this monday! hope you find enough non peep toe shoes in time [leaving you unnamed so you can break the good news to people on your own :) since this is very recent news!]
