| 5 years ago today, the unthinkable happened. The Twin Towers were attacked and collapsed. Thousands died in that attack. And we can't forget the the passengers of the flight downed in PA who risked their own lives to keep more from happenning. And The Pentagon, too, attacked and survived. We have come a LONG way in 5 years. Yes, we will never forget! 9/11 is forever etched into our minds. We were all in class, at work, or at home. The news of the attack made the whole world stop in its tracks. There was noting we could do. The world litterally stopped turning 5 years ago today. People were glued to their TV. People of all races, religions, lifestyles came together as one. But it is a sad thought that such a tragedy could bring us all to gether, yet after it was all over, we went back to the same self-righteous Americans? But, today is a day where we stand together and defend our country and pray for tose who lost loved ones or are still suffering from being there. So to Commemorate this event in history here is a list of songs:
Let Freedom Ring -- Martina McBride Proud to be an American -- Lee Greenwood God Bless America America, The Beautiful -- Ray Charles Courtesy Of The Red, White, and Blue/Angry American/My List -- Toby Keith WhereWere You When the World Stopped Turning -- Alan Jackson
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

SO, i am not looking forward to practice today. They gonna hurt like hell if i dont do it right. AND, hopefully i wont be in a foul mood. LOL

| Row, Row, Row Your Boat....So, I have joined the NSU Crew (the rowing team). Today was awesome. We got to get in the water and ROW! Man it was AWESOME (with the exception of the 3 "crabs" that i caught). FOr you non-rowers, a "crab" is when the oar gets caught in the undertoe of the other oars. Well, I hope everyone enjoys their labor day weekend.
Ciao!! | | |
