I got a driver's license.. haha.. very funny.. I'm 21.. pretty close to being 22.. I had a permit since 16.. It's been almost 6 years..
You should have seen me today.. I was so nervous.. I thought I was going to faint.. When the driving test was done, the examiner said "you missed 17 pts out of 20.. you need to brushen up on this, this, and that.. blah blah.. etc. etc.. on and on.." So I'm sitting there thinking.. "I better come back again on Friday.. I know the route now... I can practice.."
But then she says, "ok, let's go in and get you a new license"
I thought she was joking!! I scored 15% and she was giving me a license.. are you kidding me???????? So I didn't believe it until I had my picture taken. I have been so scared to drive.. Even sitting in front of the steering wheel made me nervous.. and now I have a driving license.. that is incredible.. just.. amazing.. I know.. you probably think I have lost my mind to be so happy for just a license.. but I was more nervous taking this 10 minute test than any of my test (finals, TOEFL, SAT.. etc etc..).
But I'm happy now.. Thank God for keeping me alive.. and May God help those who are on the same road with me..
*** on the other thought.. maybe the lady meant I missed 17 out of a hundred.. you know.. and that if I had missed 20 points, then I would have failed???? what you think?? |
