| AN END TO A BEGINNINGXanga. What's that?
The only reason I haven't deleted Xanga yet is... laziness. No, I'm kidding. For those who still use it, I still like to read 'em. I never thought I was a good Xanger, but who's to judge? I want to give it another try. And, if this is one extra way for me to keep in touch with my friends, then of course, I can't get rid of it. So, now that my "I'm baaack" shpeal is done... Time to catch up.
Well... a lot has happened since my last entry, which was written ~1 year ago. I'm one essay away from no longer being a college student. In ~5 hours, I'll unofficially be a college student no more. In ~2 weeks, I'll have the proof.
So, as I'm sitting in the stacks of the Divinity Library, procrastinating for ONE last time... I'm trying to grasp the fact that I'm done. I'm finished. I did it all. BUT I really haven't. Because lucky for me, I have craploads of school still left for me to go through. So what is it that's really ending? It's not being a student nor is it school. What's really ending is Grace's Bubble Tea.
Yeah, if I can choose one thing from Duke to represent my college career... it'd be Bubble Tea from Grace's. I don't know why. Maybe it's because it's been the only one consistent thing throughout the past 4 years. Good, old reliable Bubble Tea from Grace's.
Or maybe it's because it's always comforted me. To have such a familiar drink in a scary new place (DURHAM).
Or maybe it's because it's something from Duke that will stay with me forever. Even when I go back to California, I'll still refer to that sweet, chewy drink as BUBBLE TEA.
Or maybe it's simply because out of my entire 4 years at Duke, it's my most favoritest thing. I <3 Bubble Tea.
Who really knows why Bubble Tea was the first thing that popped into my mind. All I know now is... I'd better order as much Bubble Tea as I can before I graduate.
