Today is officially five years that we have been together.

Sometimes single people say they don't want to get married because they'll lose their friends.

Hello, we are the Burgesses

We have returned from the Mouse House in Orlando, FL.

It's weird to be with someone 24/7 for 7 straight days.  It's great if you are in love with that person though!

I've heard it said that it is good if something small goes wrong at your wedding, that way the "wrong" thing is out of the way.  NOTHING went wrong.  Over the last week we have truly witnessed the blessings of God.

He does love us very much, and has big plans for us.

Last night, for our wedding present, Laura (Mike's sister), took us to see Mae in Lawerence.  They rock so hard.  They have shirts that say "Mae is for lovers."  We agree.

Also, May is for lovers.
