| Surfing and TeethRecently, life has been hitting me in the face and flipping me around. Sometimes literaly. First of all, there was surf workshop. Was it life changing? Maybe not One Heart life changing, but moving in its own way. It was amazing. Now whenever I close my eyes, I see waves that are calling me back to the ocean. I'm a pretty good surfer now, and I want to get even better. I think the ocean really puts things in perspective and now my daily problems don't seem like they can overwhelm me anymore. Today, I spent 4 hours at the dentist. Actually, more properly named, the orthodontist. walked in the office not really knowing what to expect but I walked out with an appointment to get braces. I'm getting braces! Aparently, my jaw is totally lopsided and I need it to survive. That's what the specialist told me and I was like wah? Well, supposedly, 3 years and $4000 later, I'll be de-mutated into a normal human being. Someone tried to use my credit card. I don't know how, but they tried to buy something online. I cancelled the card and the payments. As long as no one has my social security number, I should be okay. I dont't know how someone could even do something like this. I mean, I saw a friend working at the mall and he gave me free pretzel sticks and I felt so bad that I could barely eat them. Don't they have a conscience!? |
