Merry Christmas!!! I hope you all have a great time tomorrow with your friends and family but don't forget the true meaning of the season. What is it? God sending down His one and only son to save you and me so we can spend all eternity with Him in Heaven. Jesus is the best gift you can receive so don't deny Him this Christmas season.

Here it is!

Well folks I'm finally posting. Alot of things went on this Summer. In June my sister Amanda got married. It's cool finally having a brother. They live two and a half hours away on a college campus. Ben is going to the college there.

I went to camp for a total of three weeks this Summer. It was so awesome. I went the first week with my youth group and then I went back two weeks later for their two week leadership camp. It was really an eye opening experience. It definitely made me more out going. I made a ton of friends which was really nice. This first week is basically all workshop type sessions from 7:30 in the morning and then throughout the day we would some of the regular camp activities and then some more sessions and then the evening services. The speaker for the services was Tom Ferrill. He has some really great messages. The second week I was an assistant counselor at the junior camp. There were ten girls between the ages 10-12. They were great girls and it was amazing to see God changing their lives that week. There was one girl who we weren't sure if she was saved so we were all praying for her and then on Thursday she got saved! It was so awesome to see the immediate change in her life.

Then when I came back home I helped in my churches VBS. I was the one who taught all the kids the songs and verses. That was something totally new for me. Usually my sister would do and I would just stand up there really nervous, but this year it was all on me. The Lord truly gave me the strength to do it because I was really nervous but I ended up really enjoying it.

Now i'm just finishing up my senior year (which is really weird). I still don't know what to do after I graduate. I'm just praying about it. I know I want to be in the ministry in some way I'm just not sure what. If you all could pray for me in that area I would really appreciate it.

I'll post some picture from this Summer later.

To post or not to post....

Well I've been thinking about starting to write on my site again. I was wondering if any of you would read if I started doing it again. Leave me comments to let me know!

So yeah I think I'm pretty much done with xanga....at least for a while any way. I'm getting way to busy. I'll probably still comment on your sites when I get a chance.

God Bless guys!

Missy comes home tomorrow night! I'm so excited! We all are actually. It will be so great to have her home again. Amanda is getting married in 24 days! That will be totally weird to get used to. It will be fun to finally have a brother though

I'm not as stressed right now about graduating and college stuff. I was helping Amanda go through her stuff last night and one of her friends gave her this quote and I thought it was pretty great..."The most important thing in life is not to know the Lord's will, but to know the Lord." When I read that I felt calm about it all the sudden. It's awesome when God uses the littlest things to help you.

My back has really been hurting me lately. I have a curved spine so that kinda throws everything else off. It's been giving me really bad headaches too. It's not fun at all. Right now it's just sore...I think it might be from mowing the lawn  yesterday as well.

Work went fine today. The computer was working super slow today so that made it really frustrating at times but I got the job done. I might not have to work Thursday because not that great of stuff has been coming in. It will be kinda nice though since Missy will just be getting home, and since her flight gets in at like one thirty and we have to pick her up in Detroit it will most likely be a really late night.

Well I got to get going. Have a great week!

Mindy
