i'm a foppish geek, so obviously i have one of those daily emails from merriam-webster of your "word of the day". and today's word... schadenfreude = song from avenue q = i'm obsessed and yet too lazy/overworked to fetch for lottery ticket = regretting not seeing it when the original cast was still there = why does everyone go to las vegas to perform = john tartaglia... donde estas?

despite the horrific chinese subtitles (with french audio? not a good combination), it's a very, very good movie--a mix between amelie and eternal sunshine: touching, heart-warming, and humorous occasionally. but alas, the ending was bittersweet, and oh so sad. =') (i wish i could be more eloquent after the movie, but i think it got the best of me--read the synopsis of the film, you'll understand why)

Coffee is saving my life

during high school, i would've laughed at myself when i say that. but now, it has become the ultimate truth: i need coffee. soda, not so much; tea, better flavor, i would say, but perhaps not as effective; coffee, coffee good. especially when you are so sick of the library, coffee makes you like the library and willing to type up notes to study for stat final.

all will soon be over (not sure how i feel about that):

Monday: Econ final (need to haul ass, crazy teacher with crazy final, and yet, i'm taking his class again next quarter. i am indeed a masochist)
Tuesday: Statistic final (need to haul ass)
Wednesday: Calculus final (accept it, i'm fucked)
Thursday: Hum paper (i like my topic, hopefully, this will be the only class that i'm getting an A, depressing isn't it, highest grade will be an ENGLISH class... did i mention i love my hum class?)
Friday: hanging out downtown/lie dead on my bed/screw around
Saturday: pack, go to my aunt's, and screw around
Sunday: flight, and screw around
Monday: Internship starts

p.s. "State & Main", very good film. the more you watch it, the funnier it gets

i got a mac! it's so pretty! 14 in. ibook. yes... i'm going to the dark side, the mac world! wahahaha. (bad experience with dell, i don't think that i could put myself to buy another one again)
