It is a high honor for a woman to be chosen from among all womankind to be the wife of a good and true man.

Snow Day!

It all began yesterday: "Have you heard about the big storm?"  "There's a big storm coming in tonight."  "We're going to be snowed in!"

In the morning our windows were covered in half by the snow.  We had a nice sized drift by our door.  Our car was buried. Schools closed. We got the word over the radio at about 6:45am.

Husband diligently read, wrote, answered questions, prep-ed for classes, work on his thesis, and generally spent his Snow Day well.  I cleaned house.  And I mean, CLEANED HOUSE! I got some reading down for History class too.

And then it was lunch time.
Then we took recess.

Husband shoveled the driveway for our landlords. And I made a Snowmound.  It was going to be a snowman, but I couldn't lift the snowballs, so I ended up rolling the balls next to each other in a line.  Husband laughed at me.  I had these snow balls erect and standing at attention.*pats Snowmound*  "Good little submissive Snowmound"

Aww!!  Fun!!   I'm so glad you had a great day, Kata!    And yay for NSA and Logos being closed tomorrow too!  *joy fills the air*

OH!  GUESS WHAT??  Schola had a snow day too!!  Seriously, deep snowfalls don't usually effect online classes, ya know, but since there was *so much* snow today, the tower out here was getting all messed up.  So Dad was only able to teach my Great Books class this morning, and then we took the rest of the day off!  Woo!!  Oh, and the lights were flickering all morning, so we filled up pitchers of water, just in case, and a few thermoses of hot water. It was fun! The power never did go out, but we had fun anyhow.  I went sledding with Lizzie and the boys down the driveway, and got lots of videos and pictures which shall soon be posted on my facebook.

We missed you today, Kate, but I'm happy you had a fun day with Jesse!

Love you!
Faif

awww! That is SO sweet. I heard about the storm--people said they felt safer walking around town then driving--scary. We actually thought we were getting here in ND..guess it blew on

Have fun today too

Attention!  Attention!  Although all the other schools in the area are having Snow Days... WE here at NSA are not.  *sniff* ...

But it looks like y'all had lots of fun and were very productive.  I did loads of Greek yesterday and began work on a wall in front of our house.  You should drive by and see it...

Sounds marvelous!!

I don't think it's fair that we don't have snow days in Houston . . . I think we should declare some for good measure. :)
