Interests: Well, I think I have many of them.... I have played soccer for 13 years, I rode/showed horses throughout high school, I love to ice skate(competed when I was younger..)...... but I think all those things are more past interests that I dream of reconnecting with. Currently I just finished a season of Crew(rowing) at Oxford University... so that would be an interest.
As for my other interests...
drawing, painting, scrapbooking(ok, so i like crafty things), girls nights out, talking, talking, talking more, running(hmm.. hopefully i'll finish my first full marathon on my birthday! yeah!).....ok, brain fried.
Expertise: Someday I hope to be an expert teacher, but we shall see what my students say when that day comes. ;o)
For now, I am an expert at smiling, an expert at studying, and an expert at procrastinating(ok, so I'm getting better with this...).

| I haven't updated in months... probably because I no longer use xanga for personal use.. but I do read it to keep up on all of your lives. Life this semester has been interesting.. so many things going on, both good and the occassional not so good.
In a nutshell my semester has included......... running a marathon (26.2 miles...), being sick...really sick (4 times), having my car stolen, beginning to date an amazing man, working 36 hours a week, taking 18 units, having my car broken into again, developing some incredible relationships with people, having my bank account broken in to, and learning to enjoy the beauty of living....oh and not sleeping...sleep is very few and far between....
I would love to write more, but it is now 2am and I have 3 tests tomorrow.

| So, it's been a while, hasn't it.
Disneyland was amazing. Bryce bought us autograph books and it was soo fun! Got the fun pictures with the disney princesses! Woot! Oh and yes, the teacups were amazing, as always!!!! *pleased*
Life has been really good lately. Finally, pieces seem to be falling together.... things don't instantly get better or go away, but God has been there to pick up those pieces and put them back together in a way that has only made me stronger.
There are so many things still to mend, but I have faith... for the first time in a long time, I know that everything is going to be OK. I still think about life's outcomes, but I'm not scared... I'm not worried about what is going to come next... but I'm learning to live for each today and to be satisfied with that.
Today was nice.. tomorrow, who knows?! But I'm not worried.... - Night on the Country | | |
