singapore: one more week here!
I think I have gotten used to Sinngapore now, and now, I just can't remember how it feels like to be in Sydney!!
It has been lots of fun suringt he last week here......seeing our relatives, visiting familiar places and going on the MRT! = ]
This are the highlights of the first week in Singapore!!
- Visting Grandma and Uncle Francis and waving them goodbye as they return to Malaysia
- Shopping at Eastpoint Green (but not so much out side)
- Aiyi Judy's ROM and her reception: seeing all our relatives on the second day of our trip was very nice :D
- Staying the weekend at my cousins' in Khatib
- Shopping at Tampines Mall and Century Sqaure
- Having fun downstairs of Block 809 on Sunday morning!
- Shopping at Bishan Junction 8
- Shopping at Ang Mo Kio Hub
- Eating McDonalds for Monday breakfast
- Visiting Dojo at Aljunied!! (We're going again later this morning)
- Shopping at Bugis Junction and Bugis Street
- Shopping at Parkway Parade and meeting Aunty Betty
- SINGAPORE FLYERRRRR with Shanna and Aunty Betty...one of the places I will never forget going to
- Shopping around Chinatown
- Shopping and walking around Vivo City, Harbourfront
- Dinner last night with Yima Pris in Fish and Co. (Tampines Mall)
- ALLL THE DELICIOUS FOOD IN THE KOPITIAMS AND FOOD COURTS AROUND SINGAPORE
- THE MRT RIDES!!! HAVE BEEN FUN!!
Today, we're going to the Bukit Panjang LRT for some exciting fun!! :D

SINGAPORE!!
i'm in singapoooreeee!!!!
i arrived on thursday afternoon over here. It was felt really strange to be in Singapore after such a loooong time...but I think it has gotten into my brain and I am used to the surroundings now.....It's also very hot here!!! Very humid..
We'll be staying in yima pris' flat in Bedok for the next two weeks....but this weekend i'm styain in Khatib with my cousins!!!!
We visited grandma on Thursday afternoon.. it was nice to see her..hopefully she'll come and visit us in Syney next year !!
Yesteday was aiyi judy's wedding..it was really nice because we surprised her at the ROM...very funny and dramatic day yesterday hahaha very funnny
I hope to do many things in the next two weeeks....wwoooppie doooo...tonight is the F1 in Singpaore!!! yay!

two weeks of september pass, two more weeks of class
back to laziness and boredom
i have no homework to do, and i have finished all my assignments, so now i have nothing to do!!
so i have all the time in the world to relax...............
but there are still two more weeks of school...so more work is expected.. ;(
I had my piano exam on tuesday!!!! I was quite nervous in the morning, but i improved my confidence in the exam i think..i didn't actually think i would do so well, because my scales weren't very good, i couldn't answer one question in the general knowledge that the examiner thought i could've answered......plus i didn't play very well in the sight reading..
but I got an A! =) I was very pleased...but I was also a bit dissapointed because i didn't do my very best!!
..don't worry, I can improve my technique in my scales next year..now that I know my weaknesses.. =]
well..as i said, only two more weeks of school, then its the holidays again!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

.now for September...a new month!!! =D
What will happen this month???? I guess time will tell..
My music theory exam is over!!!! I endured it on marcus' 17th bday, 27th August....it was the longest exam I have properly sat for..that is sat and concentrated..THREE hours!! 9:30-12:30..it was pretty intense..but after checking my paper five times, I got really sick of looking at it..
The next test is my practical exam next Tuesday! I am scared..well not really but a bit nervous...I am always before an exam...but if I practice well this week I think I can do pretty well :D
School has been pretty normal.........just a bit sick of waking up so early: 6:30!!! But tomorrow I don't have to because there's another teachers strike. That's good, I only need to go to school at 11:30.. =)
At the moment, I don't feel I have many major projects going on, just my piano exam..but it is always good to be busy and quite enjoying having to do a lot of things because if I don't have anything, I would be reallllly boreeed..and I absolutely hate it when I have nothing to do....it really frustrates me....
I have been listening a lot to Sneaky Sound System 2 (electronic/dance band from Australia). I like their new album, it's very bouncy and beat-y...it is music that wakes you up..and I like that sometimes!
PN News: It has been a really long time since I uploaded any photos to Xanga.so here are some photos of our new house...the bricks on the first floor are nearly finished, then the bricks on the top floor will put and then the tiles on the roof.

my mind is happy i think and so is my body =] It's the weekend and my whole body is ready for a rest. I am happy because I have time to do work and study, so once again I have to make time and focus on my work instead of getting to carried away with games and other distractions.
I've been watching a lot of Olympics which is probably why I don't get soo much work done......but the olympics are going to end on Sunday....so no more to watch..but it has been really fun to watch..I like watching all the different sports!! So good some of those athletes...I like watching field events, volleyball, diving and gymnastics. But I have yet to watch any field events and artistic gymnastics but both of them are on tonight!
I have three assignments at the moment: Science, Geography and French. I will be working on them this weekend.
I have been trying to change my work habits and try to be more serious with my studies. I have been reducing my time on MSN, study more for exams and listen better in class. I received my geography and science test back today and I must say although I did pretty well relative to my class I reckon I could've done better.....
I had a maths test on Wednesday....I hope I do welll =]
PROJECT NEGINIL NEWS:
The wooden frame of our house has been put up, and so has the brick wall on the lower part of the house. Hopefully we can move into our new house by Decemeber! I can't wait to move back to St Ives.....I miss waking up late on weekdays.............

study study study
i am trying a new thing: to study my work even though there are no exams coming up
i have never done this kind of thing before but now I can see how important it is....I realize I can start memorising my notes from class and everything that i learn. It's actually quite good, I think instead of spening hours on MSN....
that's another thing I'm trying to change: to reduce my time on MSN, because I've been finding myself on msn for a few hours and I have just realised what a real waste of time is because I see my friends everyday and we don't talk about anything important, so there really is no point on going online when i can be doing more important stuff like studying and catching up on work.
I have got more work to do over the next few weeks: maths, science and geography assignment plus there's a maths and geography test next week....the next week after that I have music theory exam (which I have to study and practice a lot for!)!!! and two more weeks after that, I have my grade six piano exam (aaah!!) !!!
So lot of stuff happening over the next few weeks......I'll be busy busy busy..but it's good the weekend has just started :)

it's the eight day of the eight month of 2008...
today is the start of the olympics where the opening ceremony commences at 8:08pm in Beijing. I am watching the ceremony now and I am extremely impressed with all the acts and such...so much work has been put into this!! It's absolutely amazing!!! But mum was saying how the country is full of poverty and so much money has been put into this Olympics...Beijing is definitely selling itself through the Olympics I think.
Well, this ceremony will go on for about four hours and I don't think I will stay up that late...I have to sleep!!
I have been waking up at 6:30 in the morning for the past five mornings and I must say I do miss waking up late at about 9 or even 7:45 is good enough.. :D
I am glad I remembered to write a post here.....on this special date....

after two weeks of work, it's time for a second holiday!
two weeks of school have passed so quickly........
the routine of school has taken over my two-week life of waking up late and doing nothing....I feel so relaxed now after two weeks of school. I need a proper rest.
The Eastern District Gathering last weekend was fun....I started to not look forward to it, but as always, I get in to it on the second day. I am so happy I went, because it was one of the most fun things that happen every year! But its quite sad that it is supposedly the last one.
I hope to complete homework and assignments when I came back and I managed to finish them on time, which I am happy for. I looked at my "to-do" list just now, and noticed that I have absolutely no work to do!! Yipee, time to relax and have my second holiday: playing the PS2!! (which I plan to do after I use the computer!)
My music theory exam is in a month and I have to practice for it...I think the exam is quite hard so Ill have to study a lot of stuff.
Despite all these little things I have to do, I know I have worked very hard during the last two weeks and I deserve a break!!!!!!!

one more dayyyy
two weeks have gone now......but it seems like a lifetime.
holidays are always like that because school seems to be our whole life but when your doing something different everyday for a period of time, you seem to be in another life.
I've done a lot of things this holiday: Adelaide, playing games and having days where your so lazy and bored, doing a bit of work, watching television, playing games and going out: to friend's place, giving light at the mahikari centre for five hours (which I did on tuesday and today xD) and shopping centre...
But now there is only one more day to do whatever I want before school starts :(
As always, I'm not looking forward to school: history test next week! and a few assignments and work to do:(
But, I have to do what I have to do...hmph
School and study are our lives and we have to live with that fact!! (Unfortunately so)

holidays rule!!
getting up late, playing games and having fun!!
Going to my friends place on thursday and hopefully on friday or next monday, I can do something fun with paddypoo, I'm not sure whether she'll be free, but I hope she is!
