PRAISE GOD! His love and goodness is everywhere. How great it is to be called a child of God. New passion, discovery of gifts, God's just full of surprises. Wendy put it in a good way, God is sneaky (and funny).

Recent things that's happened: Went to visit Bingoland few weeks ago, time was tight but it was a great time with Peanut, Chestnut, Nutosaurus, and Yuki at the multicultural event (I don't think I ever went as a student). They served tostones! (fried unripe plantains) Earlier in the day, went to visit the kids at Peanut's workplace. We face painted the children and one of them was inspired to paint me. I looked like I had gigantic purple goggles on with a big slab of brown brick on my forehead. I freaked some ppl out since I don't even work there normally. My beloved Peanut says I look like a wrestler. The kid said I was supposed to be catwoman. Gotta be careful on how I inspire kids in the future XD.

Right now, searching for work (that was kinda rough at first but God's been really pulling me through in the process), and serving in children's ministry. What an amazing experience to have the Holy Spirit flowing through me to bless these kids. I love my church! God's just been bringing all these wonderful people into my life.

Funny how the last entry was about the body of Christ and now almost 6 months later, this entry touches upon the topic yet again!^^ Praise the Lord! Living Water was sooooo gooooood, My God, if that's only a glimpse of Heaven, I'm addicted to the Lord's goodness and kingdom! An addiction that's rooted in God's reality, contrary to the world's definition of living in a drug fantasy. As I was saying about the Body, unity showed its ultimate power through prayer and trust in the Lord, when all committees (body parts) gathered together, Acapella, Body Worship, Drama skit, Pantomime, Gospel Choir, Sam's testimony, Pastor Dan's speech, and tons praise and worship w/ JPM. God jus energized us all and made practice fun fun fun! Was in awe the whole time.  What is Living Water?

Springing Up
Don't let any root
of bitterness
Springing up in me
Send out stealthy runners
to invade
Another's growth in Christ

Rather let a well
of living water
Springing up in me
Overflow uncontained,
splashing down upon
Another's arid ground.

   -Nancy Spiegelberg

If anyone is thirsty,
Let him come to me and drink.
Whosoever believes in me,
as the Scripture has said,
Streams of living water will flow
from within him.

-John 7:37-39

How is it like to have streams of living water inside of you?

OverFlow!
Out of the abunDance!
abunDance!
AbunDANCE!
DANCE! DANCE!
Out of the abundance of the heart
the Mouth Speaks
The Soul Peaks
The Heart Swells
The Tongue Tells!

    -Nadine Mozon

Another note, God's stretching the heart to strengthen faith is not fun at first, (he's doin that a lot lately, OUCH!) but it sure feels good in the end. Analogy I read this week, how do you know how strong a teabag is until u've dipped (or maybe SOAK, yikes rite?) it in hot water.

Fool for Christ, Nuts for Christ, I sure hope so!

Ooo semi formal pixies up, check em out at Liloapple's site. Thanks cashew (aka Queen of hearts ^_~)  lady for scanning em. Me personally too lazy to do it keke.

Let's call out to the Lord together, for he strengthens and comforts our hearts as we grieve, heals our souls and bodies, and protects like no other.

For there is no better time, than this, to call out for unity and peace among the members of the body of Christ, in that through this we can grasp God's grace and power at it's fullest, allowing us to reach beyond what our mental capacity permits for an inpenetrable strength that pierces deep and everlasting into each other's hearts.

Let us seek comfort in knowing that those who's passed away at the wrong timing is with God this very moment!

Peanuts! Who woulda thought that so much could be learned from a genius-crafted, cartoonic world of little children. We laugh at their ignorance and simplicity, oh but the irony of it all! When will we stop displacing ourselves from their situation as foreign observers and realize we are only laughing at ourselves! We're all children just the same, ignorant just the same. We're perhaps even more ignorant than them because we think we know better.

Talkin bout peanuts, Yesterday was just pure craziness in the nut family! Pixies be coming soon to show that one. Had a blast singing or more like screaming our heads off at Peanut's (my daaaahling Solomon as of last nite, cept I'm playing second wife to Cashew Lavigne! argh!) house. It's fine if you didn't get that one, I told you we're a nutty family. So somewhere in the middle of the night, I strained my voice, never knew I had such a passion for singing/ hurting other ppl's eardrums But it's ok, we used to putting up w/ each other, it comes w/ being a nut(case) keke  Members of the nut family unite! Macademian Nut, Almond, Hazelnut, Coconut, Chestnut, Brazil Nut, Cashew, Nutmeg and Peanut! And then another surprise awaits us all after karaoke. Denny's! Haven't been there since freshy yr, which goes waaaay bak, Elize decided to halt the denny's boycott for a day. It was a nite of love and fellowship, aww I love u nutty ppl.

Something that made me go huh on thurs: I said to my graphic design teacher, "Finally it's Thurs and I can say have a good wkend to all of us". Teacher says, "No, no good wkend because I want you guys to work hard and get a good grade on that project due next tues". Sooooo....I can do work and STILL have a good wkend, can't I? I guess professors will always associate our "good" wkends w/ fun and laziness. Whatever happened to I can enjoy my work and learn from it good kind of wkend (o,O)

Got Faith?

I just realized I've been updating xanga consistently in the past 3 wks. YAY?! KEKE Today was awesome! Praise and worship night! How great it is to be reminded of God's love, you can never get enough of it! It's amazing how one day you can think you've achieved true happiness with the Lord and then there's something greater the next day and the day after! A joy and peace that's too great for words to describe. Our language will only belittle it's signficance. One holy tidbit that's been on my mind this whole week since last Sunday's service:

A story of success or tragedy?-two 80 yr-old women (devout Christians) retired from nursing careers sets out to the villages to heal the sick. On the way to one of these appointments, they are killed in a car accident. The world views this as a tragedy, after all you had these kind ladies who devoted all their life to helping others and ended up being killed in an accident. Life isn't fair, the end. Wrong, these two women lived a blessed life of rejoicing in God's love and spreading that love out to others. After this life, they'll rejoice with the Lord for all eternity! What's more, when God asks "what do you have for show and tell", they can tell him of all the ppl they've helped and what a joy that will be! Age did not impose any limit in these two women's ambition to help others. Every minute in their life was valuable and provided for a fruitful opportunity!

The world's version of a success story: Work, earn more, and retire early. A couple retires in early 50s to go sailing around the world in their new bought yacht. Their first stop is a nearby beach where the couple frolicks in the sand with the wife collecting seashells. What do they have to offer for show and tell when they meet the Lord? "Look God, here's my collection of shells!" Doesn't mean much does it..., Now that's a tragedy!!!

This has completely changed (or should I say corrected) my perception on several stories of similar nature. How sad is it that this world has completely twisted around the purpose of life as well as many other things (and man do I keep seeing them everywhere!) Man's goal in avoiding suffering as much as possible is actually killing us. As hard as it might be to accept at first, we NEED suffering to be made strong, to be shown love at its greatest power, and lastly to be perfected in faith! How easy are such terms made known to us but so hard to digest. Having the easy life that society tries to engrain into our desires will only serve to keep us empty of any real substance.

I LOVE this quote: "We are nobody until God loves us, thereby making us somebody"

There's tons wonderful stuff behind this quote, but I'll leave it to you guys to ponder that one, otherwise I'll launch into another endless entry.

Remember the Titans, GREAT MOVIE!!!!!

(Thanx Jeff for correcting the title, how embarrassing to complement yet mispell a movie XD)
