R.I.P. August 10, 1990 - July 15, 2005
You're my hero. As the oldest kid in my family, you've always been the person I look up to. I admire you a lot, especially how you always take care of Ashley. And you were so determined and so ready and eager for football next year. It hurts to see the dreams of a young man crushed and never realized because of some other plans that God decided to make for you. You have the brightest and cutest smile ever. There is that something about you that makes everyone love you so much. And you crack me up all the time! Like that time at the pool when you showed up with a huge hammer waiting for me to come, but I never went. I can't believe you thought I would really go! But reminiscing all the wonderful memories we've had together, I wish that I were there. And I wish that you had hit me with that plastic hammer. You're definitely a child of God, too. It is amazing to know someone like you, who loves God so much and always hungry for the words of Christ. You'll have no idea how many kids received Christ as their savior on that very Sunday... Now I understand why God wants to take you so early. You are such a heavenly and spiritual example to every one of us. Even though I'm missing you so much already, I know that we'll see each other again in heaven some day. Christ says in the Bible that whosoever believeth in Him will have eternal life. I'm jealous because that eternal life you have right now already. I'm more jealous that there's no homework, corruption, temptation, or anything like that in heaven. Thinking about it, you are one lucky child. God gives and takes away life because for a good reason. I don't understand why you're taken so early. It is so unfair because you're leaving everyone in misery to go to a place so beautiful. We will never find out why God wants to take you so early at age fourteen, but you will definitely always and forever be in everybody's hearts. I love you with all my heart.
