Wow it has been a while.
It is First Day of School Year's Eve.
Only on this eve we do not celebrate with Christmas cookies or champagne popping or counting down in anticipation of the new year.
In fact it is quite the contrary.
We wish we could count up, or go back in time to live it just one more time in the summer of 2006.
On that note I think it is time for all of us to reflect on the ummm.... magic of summer 06.
Summer 06, you have my deepest apologies from abusing you into all hours of the night with video games and IMing.
Summer 06, you purchased me my $4.23 Walgreen shades at one in the morning.
06, you gave me perhaps my favorite album of all time.
06, you have introduced me to the new Spicy Chicken Crunhwrap Supreme. ( I will keep the ridicously large bag of taco bell hot sauce in honor of you.)
06, you most graciously fueled my semi-addiction to Arizona Ice Tea .99 cent best buy "Tall Boys".
And finally 06, we had a good run. You could only give us so much without anything in return. We took you for granted. I truly and deeply thank you always and forever.
I'll leave you now 06 with a tip of the hat, and a raise of the glass in honor of you.
