Had a pretty down day the day before though; computer got burnt, I was givien a car and it got taken back, and other life stressors... so maybe that will carry over. Anyways, gotta start setting up some goals for the year on this day since I keep making it (got God to thank for that). I didn't know I was born on the same day as Jamal Lewis and Macaulay Culkin haha, just a little fun fact from wiki. of the month but mostly been procrastinating and lazy to get it done. I
actually haven't touched it for one week until today. I made some progress. What's left?

//The clothing details
//Fix or add somethings to the hair
//Other misc things

I hope I finish it before I head back to school. Speaking of school, not as excited as I was last year. I'm guessing, I'll be the same old boring mild social dude I was last year. I'll have to set more goals then just going for a 4.0. That's an impossible goal by the way but setting it up that high makes you work harder and even I won't get it, I'll get something close to that. At least I hope so. UMBC getting on my nerves not giving me the residence hall I wanted, the classes I wanted were all filled up, not giving me any institutional grants, giving me a headache with my financial aid among other thangs. What's up with all that?

It's all good though because football is here. I think I will be watching more college football then NFL though. My Redskins were looking good until Clinton Portis got hurt and now our corner Springs. Oh well, hope they'll be alright. Looks like Reggie Bush plan on doing what he does in the NFL so the Saints will be fun to watch. I'll be on the look out for Penn State, Maryland even though they sucked the last two seasons, The-U, Louisville, USC, you know... It's going to be niiice. So basically, my schedule this fall will deal with classes, studying, and watching football!

Jury Duty

...well kind of. I was mailed a jury summon weeks ago and it was for today at 7:30am. I had to wake up early booo! Only had 2 hours of sleep after a terrible sunday at KFC the Sunday night (still getting used to this new Jaguar-owning, general manager). When I got there I had to pay for parking boooo, then I had to wait, and wait, and wait some more. We can't have camera phones and I didn't bring a laptop or something to read so I was bored to the point I almost went insane/crazy. At least I saw this cutie sitting in my view but everytime she looks my way I look elsewhere and vice versa for her too lol. It was boring. By 11:30am, it turned out I wasn't even going to be needed (along with a whole lot of people there) and they start sending us home. Oh well, I think I am now exempt to serve on a jury for at least 3 years and will get a $15 check in the mail, go me I guess! But wait, I had a $15 parking ticket too. The 100° weather did not help either. Oh well, now I can chill in the home AC and perhaps get started on my next vector project. Still deciding on who and what picture but I'm leaning a lot toward my wifey Christina Millian. She's so damn cute .

072506 Vector

Sunday, July 16, 2006

Hmmm, felt somewhat of a connection between me and this girl today. I never met her before yet we were conversating for a while, which is weird to me, it usually takes me a while to get comfy with new people if at all yet it was different with her... I think I've changed for the better. Anyway, it was a good feeling, it'll probably passed though.
eBay!

Finally became an eBay user yesterday. Wow, how late can I be, but I
just been uncertain about it. Was outbidded on my first auction of a
200GB HD which sold for about $60. But today I got lucky and got my
self a 100GB HD that should be coming in a couple of days. Oooo it's so
much fun lol. Unfortunately, I have nothing in mind I want to buy/sell
right now, I'm more worried about my financial aid which I'm still
waiting on...

The reason why I'm looking for a new hard drive btw is because my
computer messed up since last month :(. That's most of my music, some
Adobe Illustrator source files of my vectors, and other data. I tried
reformatting proabably more than 20 times but no luck. I tried
installing Ubuntu but it can only run from the CD. The only logical
solution I can come up with is that I need a new drive. Let's hope this
will solve it. Then I can go back to learning C and doing more art.

Also, went to UMBC transfer oreintation Wedsnesday to schedule my
classes. Really dissapointed because all the good classes were taken.
But I can manage. I'm taking 15 credits; 4 classes, 3 of them are 4 cr
courses - Calculus, Biol, CompSci. The other class is Microeconomics
which I hope it's not a mistake since I already took an econ class at
Frostburg but that one was combined with macro and so I couldn't
transfer it as a specific UMBC Econ course. Then there's 2 other
classes (6 cr) that are not yet transferred in. Ahh, let me not stress
too much.
I wanted to learn how to program better but reading is so boring so I kind of been slacking off with that. But while browsing on the internet, I found an interesting project idea to try out from a computer science teacher. I didn't see the point of making email names but I did want to know if I can extract single names from a text file of names, put them in an array, and just randomly create full names (Reader.java). I'll be looking for more beginner type program ideas to do.

Got myself an art store : http://mojaam.deviantart.com/store via . Still getting use to it and making certain deviations into prints. Seems a bit more complicated then I though or then it should be with all of the DPI, size, etc settings. Now just gotta finish all that and start making some new art. I work only on the weekends for goodness sake so I wish I start being more productive now. Oh yeh, the 2006 BET Awards is on... look at Beyonce dancing like some crazy lady, guess that's why Jay-Z quickly appeared and disappeared.
Miami: 2006 NBA Champs!

Wooooo! The team I wanted to win won (at least in the post season). Congrats to the Heat. Love watching championship games. Early in the year, it was an exciting game from Texas/USC in the NCAA football (among other fun bowl games like the Penn St./FSU game). Then it was March Madness and Final four... But now that the NBA is over, what sports to watch next? Oh yeh, World Cup. That should quench my thirst all through the middle of July. Uh oh, after that though is when there is no sports, at least until pre-season. Can't wait for some football. Love being a sports fan.
Friday, June 16, 2006

Went to see this movie out of bordem today. There's good and bad with this one.
The good;
-The funny japanese rap (just added in my radio on the right lol)
-The cute girls
-It's set in Japan and the race scenes with the music gets your adrenaline pumped
The Bad;
-Bow wow's in it, I think he suck as an actor, but that's just me
-The storyline's weak

But that's just my take. I want to watch Click next Friday! In the mean time, I want to vector some more, learn C programming / Java some more, and buy a DVD burner with some blank DVD-Rs and neon lights for my computer. All hopefully by the end of this summer. By the way, I'm back at KFC... sucks, but oh well.

What's with the african countries in the World cup keep getting unfair calls. Anybody watched the Ivory Coast v Netherland match today? The ref was so stupid and was just on a yellow card spree. There was the play where the Ivory Coast captain got a yellow card just cuz the other guy fell on his own as shown on the replay. It's just unfair. Oh well... I don't really have any favorite team right now. Would have been Nigeria but they did not even qualify. But I've seen some Ronaldino clips and that dude is skilled. I think Brazil, Argentina (scored 6-zip on Serbia, ouch!), Germany, Ecuador are all very capable of winning the whole tournament. Well till next time, peace out.
