Ocean City and a cold
in between B's crazy night shifts, we got to steal away to the beach this weekend... as we were driving out past Annapolis, i noticed my throat was hurting. can it be? am i really catching a cold now?!?! sigh.
we checked in and found out we were upgraded to an oceanfront room! yippee! but lo and behold, i did catch a cold and was a little congested Saturday... still enjoyed watching B learning to surf, listening to the waves breaking and feeling the sand between my toes.... aaaah.

B starts his third year of residency with a Bang! Day shifts from 1 pm to 11 pm for a couple weeks, then Night shifts from 9 pm to 9 am for a couple weeks! You might think the day shifts aren't too bad, since he doesn't have to do those overnight calls... but working 6 days a week like that, the wifey only saw him sleeping in the morning as she gets ready for work! Thankfully his day off was Sunday, so we went to church together...
Now, wifey sees him for 2 and a half hrs after her work, before he leaves for his work. (sigh)
At least we're planning to go to the beach this weekend!!! yay!
