Gotta make this quick, I have work early tomorrow. Packing a bowl and typing at the same time.

Anyone else notice that midnight showings of films always have the A/C off? Shit's a burn, literally.

Sometimes it's worth it to pay extra for the reserved seating, concessions waiters, the bar AND A/C at Hollywood Arclight.

So I think I've hit almost every Thursday blockbuster opening since April and I have to say, I think Batman going to break records. The AMC at the mall near my house had 12 midnight showings, ALL SOLD OUT by 10 P.M. I think it's going to be this summer's major blockbuster.

Trying to avoid spoilers here but I love how Christopher Nolan has taken the fantasy out of a comic book adaptation yet still apply comic book (if not THE "Batman") ideals into real life social constructs. There is Oscar buzz around Heath Ledger's performance in this film but I wouldn't say it was how impacting the role was but how Ledger added such original subtle human nuances to a character almost everyone has become familiar with as "The Joker." I give this movie a lot of credit. Not a rewatch at the theater film like WALL-E but definitely a must buy on BLU-RAY type movie, which is a big deal to me.

Damn the film title is SOOOOOO appropriate.

In other news, I have been having a ridiculously good month. Next week, remodeling my room and MAYBE a new HD LCD T.V., all out of my pocket. You know you're on a good one when you're not doing much but play around, work just a little bit, treat yourself to luxuries (new locs, fresh fade and random cash out dental appointments), pool party/bbq 10 weeks in a row AND still have some money in the bank.

SHORTY WHAT YOU DRANK CUZ WE POPPIN' BOTTLES~!

Next week, we talking about WALL-E and The Dark Knight under the magnifying glass. And maybe some new pictures. Not that many of you care these days....

----------

*update*

The Dark Knight grossed $158.3 million over a 3-day weekend box office. NEW RECORD~! $18 million just over the Thursday night MIDNIGHT opening...CRAZY~!

*Damn this javascript is hard to convert, i can't embed the video, follow the link*

Grace Park on the new cover of Complex magazine. That Yonehara Yasumasa look is going big!

A couple years ago, Michael Kang let me have the opportunity and pleasure of meeting Grace Park while shooting stills on the set of his film, West 32nd. She was extremely nice and I speak good praises of this girl. Really fortunate for Mike to let me shoot in there, thanks a lot Mike~!

Damn she's hot for her age.
