D'Souza and Hitchens

So Dinesh D'Souza is one of the young rising star Christian apologists.  I'm glad he's Indian, and he makes me think of a young Ravi Zacharias (although they are quite different).

His debate with Christopher Hitchens is found here (see to the lower right).  I'll comment on the debate in a bit.

i'll be honest with you. i'm familiar with dinesh d'souza, but not from his work as a christian apologist, but as a racial conservative. i'm familiar with his book "the end of racism", and i confess i'm not a fan, and on that subject i don't think he really "gets" it.

that said, though, i am curious as to how d'souza is when it comes to debating religion. so i'll do my best to be as open-minded as possible as i check out the debate you linked to.

@jmich416 - right, I was wondering if there would be Christians who were unhappy with his political views (that's one way he's different from Ravi).  Most of the big Christian apologists out there (William Lane Craig, R. Zacharias, Norman Geisler) stick to Christian apologetics, and (for the most part) don't get into politics.  Welp, if you're able to watch it, I'm interested in what you think of the debate!

@jmich416 - oh, btw, I have no idea what his political views are other than that he's conservative.
