| It's Full Speed Ahead - Attica Raceway Park Season Opener Friday| Wednesday, 28 March 2007 | By Brian Liskai
 (Attica, OH) Billboards are being hung, new pit bleachers have been installed, the new track lights have been adjusted...everything is in preparation for the season opening night of racing action at Attica Raceway Park, Friday, March 30 (rain date of Saturday, March 31).
"Mother Nature has cooperated this week so far. She provided warm weather and plenty of wind to help dry out the grounds. The crew worked on the track for five hours the other night and its ready to go. We're busy sprucing up the rest of the grounds and right now, all systems are go for Friday's opener," said ARP Operations Manager Rex LeJeune.
LeJeune said the weather forecast keeps improving for the rest of the week and he expects a large turn-out of World Auto Parts of Huron and Cleveland 410 Sprints, 305 sprints and Fultz Fabrications and Speedshop Attica Late Models on HD Supply Night Friday.
"The grassy parking lot near in the fairgrounds is a little soft yet, but it gets better everyday. We have the parking in the stone areas around the fairgrounds and the stone lot behind the grandstands and the school parking lot near by, so fans have plenty of dry areas to park," said LeJeune. "John Bores and his crew have made a lot of improvements over the off-season in preparation for Attica's 20th anniversary and we're excited to show them off to the fans."

| UpdateWOW!!! Been major long time since I updated. Since the last time I posted, I did indeed receive my new car. It's a 2005 White Jeep Liberty. I love it! Getting some stuff added to it this spring hopefully to get it "Spiffed Up" (Justin, can you tell us what show that is from ;)) Other than my new car, I'm just about ready to complete my 2nd full quarter of college at Ohio Business College. GPA got trashed this quarter but hopefully I can bring it up next quarter. Taking class 3 days a week next quarter. Bad thing about that is our exam week is the third week of June which is the week I leave for vacation. Allready talked to 2 out of the 3 instructors and they are going to let me take em the week before which will make summer sooner =) I am fuckin pumped to go on vacation. First vacation without the family and fuck yeah I'm ready! I'm now a Registered Track & Field and Cross Country Official by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Scored an 89% on my test. I am allready starting to get some track meets. For all you Bellevue Tracksters, you better look out, I'll be at the Bellevue Invite and 2 or 3 Duals. Invite at the finish line and otherwise at High Jump. Clyde Runners, you better look out too I have all your meets at the High Jump too. Other than those I'm going to the Elks Lodge Invitational in Bucyrus, the Medina Relays in Medina, and the District Track Meet in Bucyrus. Wil be a fun spring with all that.
In addition to that, I'm working at Attica Raceway Park again. Will mostly be in the Main Office but will be filtering out some too. Hit me up if you ever come down. You all should definetly make an evening at the races. You will love it. It's not that expensive to get in for a whole night of entertainment and the food is reasonably priced. I'm also working this summer again with Gittinger French Waffles. Will be traveling around the area with concession trailers again. Make sure you hit me up if we're at your local fair or festival.
