David : She has to be self-sufficient, of course.

Dominic : Uphold justice.

Blandine : Inspire hope.

Janus : Carry dynamite.

Jean : (not looking up from his writing) Not attempt scientific implausibilities.

- Needless to say, people who uphold justice and carry dynamite inspire hope in me.

PS: If forced to choose, would you rather marry someone who understands you, or someone who really appreciates you? (We shall assume for the purposes of this discussion that it is possible for someone to understand you, well enough for their own ends, but not appreciate you; it is likewise possible for someone to truly appreciate you without really understanding you.)

You rock! Anyone who will admit that people who do that inspire you is insanely cool and needs to become president someday! This world needs a good kick in the ass to set it straight some time!

Definitely the one who appreciates me. Appreciation is respect and respect is a basis of good relationship. If he doesn't understand me, but appreciates me nonetheless, then I think that's fine.
