There are lots of new things that have happened in my life lately. I went to a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert on Saturday. Taylor Swift opened for them. It was awesome!!! I loved it a lot. Being married to Patrick is pretty sweet too :). We are staying super busy. We are gone every weekend for something different each time. I also got my ears pierced. Other than that I just wanted to say a quick hello. It's been a very long time. Ok, that's it.

Well, classes for this semester are coming to an end, only 2 more today and then I am finished. I only have two finals next week so that will not be to bad either. I have decided to go home today so I can see my niece Grace sing in her Christmas program. I am not looking forward to the drive but I am sure it will be worth it. Grace will be super happy about it too.

I am looking forward to Christmas break. Patrick and I are hoping to begin the serious process of maybe buying a house. Hopefully with Gene's help it will go smoothly. If you think about it, pray that we will make wise decisions and that we will know what house to get. It is fun looking at them and dreaming about someday living and making one of them home. I can't wait!!

I am so excited for Christmas!! It will be so nice to have a couple weeks at home just to relax with my family. I am looking forward to making more wedding plans and reading, just for fun!

Hi Everybody,

I know that it has been a very long time since I have updated so after talking to Marissa about it yesterday I decided to let you all know what has been going on lately. My biggest news is that I found my wedding dress and bought it on Saturday. It was so much fun!! My mom, two sisters, sister in law, and best friend were all there to help pick out the perfect dress. To be honest, I was doubtful that we would find one. But we did and it was so much fun. I was so glad that they could all be there with me. It made it really special. I will tell you this...it is different than what I thought I would get, but as they all said when I had it on "it's you Ruth". So that is some exciting news. I think I have also decided on colors. I am not positive that they will stay but I like blue and brown. My bridesmaids will wear brown and will carry blue flowers. Or something like that. All that is still in the works. I know that I am going to use lily of the valley for sure though. I am getting really excited about all of it. We are starting the process of registering at Kohls, Target, and Walmart. Hopefully Patrick and I will have some time to get out and add more to our list. Just on a side note - I think Patrick is the most amazing man ever and I am so thankful for him! I love him so much!!

Now for school. School is going alright. I will be so glad for Christmas break for sure. I am ready for all the homework to be done. And the time at home will be nice.

Oh I hurt my knee last night playing volleyball. I have been limping around all day. :( I am not sure what I did, I am just going to give it a couple of days. Hopefully the swelling will go down.

so we had to change the date. my church was already in use for the 12th so we are moving it back a week to the 19th. So I will be getting married on my birthday. what a birthday present!

I'm getting married!! Patrick Lee asked me to marry him last night and I said yes! We are thinking May 12th for the big day. We'll let you know for sure later. We are both super excited and my ring is beautiful! That's my big update. :)

Hi everyone,

I am back at school after a pretty good break. It was wonderful to be with my whole family. I praise God that He brought us all together again. It was fun to have all 16 of us there at mom and dads. Dad just kept walking around saying, "this is really wonderful", and he was right. The kiddos had a ball playing together.

The semester here will be challenging but I am excited for the new things that it will bring. I have some challenging courses and I am also going to start working a little. I am going to have to learn to balance my time wisely. I would appreciate your prayers for me.

My roommate is back and what a blessing that will be. I have missed her greatly.

God is at work in my life and I am trying to keep my mind focused on what is true and real. He is good and I want to please Him.

Pat and I are doing great. He is so wonderful and I continue to love him more each day. I am excited for us. :)

So just a quick update on what's going on with me:

-I just finished my 14 response papers that are due on Friday! That's a relief.

-I know that my camera has been found and I just have to pick it up from James (who ever that is)

-I am once again changing my major and my minor. My major will be counseling and my minor will be biblical studies. I am excited about my change. And the plan to graduate in four years still works.

-I am playing in a dodge ball tournament on Friday night

-Things with Patrick are better than ever!!!!

-I am super excited to go home next Friday with Pat to see some of my family.
