6 hours, half a dozen of cigs, and four pieces of toffee-peanuts chocolate bars later, I have finally finished the template for my website. Gawd... it's so fucking hard to make one. Grrr... Glad I'm almost done though.
But yeap, I spend my Friday night at home. I know, how unbecoming! But I totally get this done, I've been putting it off for way too long.
[Random Thoughts ]
1. I smoke WAY too many cigs.
2. Do I really want a bf?
3. Should I (a) smoke out, (b) get Jack in the Box or do (a) then (b)?
4. I think I need to work out now.
5. Where are my friends now? In the clubs? Or at home like me too?
6. I want to make dinner again!
7. Do I smell now? I think I need a shower.

I had a great birthday yesterday. I couldn't ask for more. Very chill, relaxing...
Started the day by going to the ON-AIR with Ryan Seacrest show in Hollywood. I was late but since I was on VIP ( ), I got in after all, and sat right in front. I was introduced to the various people who worked there as well, the cast of Hairspray - who was performing, and of course, Ryan himself. He is soooo tiny in person. But charming nonetheless.
And if you haven't heard, the show is cancelled for next season. So today's episode is that last one ever...  Poor Ryan, he looked dejected yesterday during taping.
Anyway, after lunch with some power people, I headed back to my pad and started preparing my own dinner.
Friends showed up on time and I began my 4-course dinner - yeap, I cooked again! (My roomate thinks it's my new addiction. LOL Well, it turned out pretty good. Everybody seemed to enjoy it and there wasn't any leftover!!! And we just sat around, and drank and ate cake after that. It was super cool.
This is how I envision me spending my birthday. Just chill, intimate, and grown-up. I mean, if I was to mature and grow older, I might as well do it in style. I can't do the teeny-crowded noisy parties of yesteryears any longer!
All in all, it was a great birthday and I was so glad I had my good friends to cook for, and celebrate it with. | | |
