I don't know if my life is interesting enough to really keep a good blog--unless you are interested in how many diapers I changed today, and how badly my house needs cleaning!

Today I do have news, though--Michael has his first tooth! I don't think Michael understood what all the excitement was about, nor why his mommy kept on pulling his lower lip down to look at it ("oh, the aggravation--all this joy over something that gives me so much pain!")! I have definitely now joined the ranks of those silly new mommies that make a big deal over the littlest things!

We were so thrilled to find out a little over a week ago that we are expecting a GIRL! Of course we just HAD to go shopping for some baby girl clothes that very evening! Girl clothes are so cute--I just love pink, purple, flowers, etc! I enjoy showing off the new outfits to whoever will watch as I make a dramatic presentation. My sisters and my mom make a great audience ("ooooh!!" "awww!!"). I'm definitely looking forward to having another female in the house. I can't wait till little Bethany Anne is here!

Kaite! I had no idea you were expecting another little one! Congratulations! What a blessing, and so much FUN To hear about!!! And I must say that I really love her name . . . particularly the middle name

By the way, your picture is ADORABLE, and whatever you have to say about life in general will be interesting to read, so don't worry about it! Tell Michael his second cousin is pleased to hear about the safe arrival of his first tooth.

I should say this is lots of very fun news! A first tooth should be a big thing to a mommy--it's one of those "musts."

And how fun to hear about Bethany Anne! When is she due? I can easily picture your appreciative audience for the fashion display! Too cute. And I agree that baby girls are great fun to dress up.

Bethany Anne is due on April 3rd--four days before Michael's first birthday! They are going to be very close, that's for sure! Mom tells me that I'll feel like I have twins! It is going to be interesting with two babies in the house!

So, does Michael understand the concept of baby sister yet? If so, I will have to make sure he knows that toothpaste to the hair is an excellent offensive stratagy.
