Ever wonder?

Are you curious, with me, about how and why people come to such diametrically different conclusions about the same thing? How is it that some people are so open-minded, accepting, loving, and wonderful while others are close-minded, ignorant, exclusive, and hateful?

Interestingly, it seems to me that those in the latter category are horribly afraid of anything different, but without good reason. Logic doesn't matter to them; they resist it and ignore it because it differs from the conclusions they have decided to accept. They start with what they want to believe and then work backward from there. I am talking, of course, about people who judge and reject me (us) just because I am (we are) gay, but take out gay and substitute another word if you want. Discrimination and hate are still hurtful and stupid, in any form.

Alternatively, I must say I am profoundly thankful for those in the former category. Those who love give the rainbow its colors and make the world a more beautiful place. For that, I am deeply grateful.

Still Experiencing Technical Difficulties

I am still having trouble with the site, and I regret to confess that that takes away some of my energy to post. Nonetheless, I am still able to post, so I will.

I'm happy to report that, all things considered, life is good. I have never been more comfortable with whom I am and what I'm about and how I relate to others. I have never felt more authentic, and it's only getting better.

I still think the world is full of unfairness, but I also believe I have a responsibility to do something about that. I'd like to think I am doing just that and encouraging others to do the same. Unfairness exists, at least in large part, because people agree that it's okay (often indirectly, but they're still argeeing). If we stop agreeing that unfairness is okay, we could find that it begins to change. I don't think that's idealistic; it's realisitic if people want it to be. Think about that.

Hmmm?

Xanga hasn't quite been working correctly for me. Between that and my busyness, I have few incentives to post much. Perhaps some of these bugs will work themsevels out and I'll get less busy.

Have a rainbowy day!

Check it Out

No, I don't mean a library book. I mean this link!
(If the link, doesn't work, click http://www.bluejersey.com/thinkequal/ads.html or type http: //www. bluejersey. com/ thinkequal/ ads.html into your browser without the spaces.)

I think these are super. I am always glad to see this kind of activism and conciousness raising. I still believe injustice is temporary.

Right...

It isn't that I haven't had anything to say; it's just that I haven't had a spare moment to say it. Honestly. I still love you all.
