呢个, plz.  i assure you that there aren't any issues with information disclosure.  it's nearly impossible for any of the affected parties to link me with this blog, then figure out who the kid is.  and that's assuming they're stalker enough to search for me.  after alllll that, they have to actually care.

no word on the free bread (sans dumpster diving).  i do get free heat and water though!

the company i work for is called genesis.  the company is small, but 4% of all stock trades on nasdaq is traded through us.  like in the order of a $billion/day.  and they want me to write production code.  sure thing, boss!

had lunch with this new guy.  as i was asking him questions, it came out that he's the ceo's cousin.  later, he asked me not to mention it to anyone there.  ahh, such juicy information, and i can't share it.  good thing for him i'm a nice guy.

no pics of the place yet... i move in next week.  it's above this bakery and is owned by the baker couple.  my place smells like fresh bread.

i just found a 1 bedroom apt in the ok part of brooklyn for the same montly cost as my mortgage.  i'll just be glad to be done looking for a place.  earlier, when i responded to a craigslist ad for a bedroom, i got a generic response which included 40 other people on the to line.  sigh.

started a job in the financial district last week.  there seem to be a lot of chinese buffets in the area.  i guess the idea is to swoop in, buy a pound of food, and get going.  i go there with this guy from china.  he says he likes it because it's authentic... but i saw general tso's chicken, et al.  i don't think he was joking, either.
