| Colliding
Dawn comes faintly in your light pink lips Over a long night for my half-filled heart. Your smile shines bright as a rising sun To fill up the near empty parts
And I am lifted from my dark dreams By the clear rings of your soulful voice. This joy you exude so easily Traces the contours of my face
Until I am completely yours - Until my sky is painted rich and blue. So thank you for your loving touch And know that I do love you, Pooh.

| So life has been pretty full, what with Amy and I looking for an apartment to move into in August and working hard to scrape together enough money for a deposit + first month's rent. The good news is, we have signed a lease! The bad news is, the actual "moving" has now commenced. That means calling all of our utilities and telling them either we're moving or telling them to close the account completely. It means getting boxes and trying to figure out how to move the bed from one apartment to the other without shelling out money for a truck. It means cleaning up the old apartment and filling in holes like a responsible tenant. But it is all worth it because *sings* I get to live with my sweetie! *sings*.
The new place is on Woodhaven Blvd, two blocks away from Queens Center and the Woodhaven Blvd stop. It's on the first floor of a house, with a nice red door and backyard access. We will be hosting some type of house-warming party to celebrate, but Amy says we need to get a couch first before that can be done. I hope my kind and loving friends would be willing to chip in to buy us a couch, because wouldn't it be a wonderful house-warming gift? *Puppy Eyes*.
But anyway, work commences.

| Declining Dollar Hurts Remittance Recipients Abroad
In an ironic twist of fate, the declining dollar is solving the immigration crisis for us. As it turns out, not only does a competitive dollar bring more jobs to American soil, it also makes the United States significantly less attractive for migrant workers, whose earnings when send back to their home countries have been dropping in value. This is something I have not foreseen but there you go. All you people worried about illegal immigrants climbing our fences and coming by raft, know that soon all those bottom scrapers will be sneaking into Canada instead.
As for me, I'm worried about the vacuum that will be left when they leave. Anyone out there willing to pick cotton or clean toilets for below minimum wage? Anyone?

| Remember how I said that the devaluing of the dollar will work to the advantage of the American working Joe? Well it has already begun:
