Wow, so it's been what, nearly 3 weeks since my last post, no? I sure am slacking off! Okay so to get back on track, a long and well-thought out xanga shall manifest itself below......

I got a myspace between now and the last entry: go learn even more about me hehehe you know you want to .... CLICK ME

Things have been all kinds of hectic lately. I believe that I'm chronically sleep deprived though full IB-ers could probably prove me otherwise. Last night I went to bed at 2 and got up today at 12:30! Definitely the longest night's sleep I've had in weeks.  It made me happy.

Last night I saw the Ring 2, jump-out scary yet blatantly hilarity ensuing. Especially the psychotic deer! I'm not going to give much away, you should go see it. Just make sure you go on a night that won't be infested with immature middle schoolers toting laser pointers.  Max and I had to refill his giant popcorn and I had to visit the water closet, and when we got back we were running into the theater at the same time two guys were running out...Max completely ran head-on into one of them and the popcorn exploded everywhere...we all cracked up and disturbed the other movie-goers further. It was actually the scariest happening of the night ahahha.

Asian couples are the cutest ever. You know who you are!

I got into both Govnenors school and NCSA last week. What a big step both of them will be. I have a lot of hard decisions to make in the near future.  And I am the most indecisive person on the planet for the most part. hmmm....

Last but not least, I'm writing a screenplay. I was inspired by one of Mrs. Ohaver's geniouses of a student. He wrote one so brilliant I had to follow in his footsteps. Though mine is definitely not a Coppola or a Kubrick or anything of that caliber, it's pretty fun and time consuming and I'm hoping it will turn out well.

I'm off to watch Fight Club for about the 50th time, it was on FX today so of course I tivo'd it. hehe. well goodnight and a pleasant tomorrow...

Stay classy.

 update! here ya go jennay--lol!

This week has flown by already, Monday was a blur of good happenings, a very worthwhile and memorable day. Sunday night I went to a show at the Light Factory and met a few Nobel Lauriates, how once-in-a-lifetime, no? It was really intelectually stimulating, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Monday i played in a string quartet for them and ate good German food at my school. hehe.  I got out of 3 classes on Monday and didn't go to school today for lack of stamina.

Once again I'm running on empty and must turn in before completing the above entry, lol. I'll finish tomorrow!

Goodnight, lovelies

My gracious, it's been forever, hasn't it!? I miss my xanga. hehe

The most important thing that happened since I updated is that I finally dyed mi pelo! It's still mostly brown, underneath is dark brown almost black  and it comes through a little. You'll just have to see it. You can make an appointment with my secretary...hehe jp

But I really like it. It's different, and change is good, right? Well we'll see.

I am intent on attending the mcr show on 4/20. Ecstatically excited and dying to go. I can't get over what fantastic concept artists they are! Their album tells a story, you can put the pieces together and it creates so much emotion.  I love it. (obviously) And I won't put another link in here but go to their site and EXPLORE. hehe

This weekend is abnormally busy. Actually, all my weekends are busy and nothing is ever pleasantly social anymore.  All work and no play makes Leigh a dull girl!  lol, but anyway, tomorrow I have piano festival @ 8. I really despise playing the piano, the act of playing it; piano is a beautiful if not cliched instrument and Chopin is divine, but it's just not quite up my ally. Eh, I'll do my best anyway.

I'm tired and cold (how devastating) so I'm going to jump in my heat-blanketed bed for some much needed siesta. To the lovelies reading this, have a pleasant weekend and leave me a comment! por favor....

HASTA LUEGO MI AMOR!

The Ensemble @ the Children's Theater is, simply put, spectacular. Every aspect of their performance was considered and I soaked in every minute of it. I doubt anyone realizes what a deep well of talent Charlotte's youth holds. It amazes me whenever I hear my peers perform.  So everybody go see them in their next show...

The day was good, slow as most Thursdays are. The day before Friday is destined to be slow, I assume. I have all my homework done! wow...that makes me excited.  Tomorrow is Friday, an A-day, and I don't have to make the trekk up to Winston for the entire afternoon. Sounds good to me!

It's the first time in a few days I feel like I don't have much to say! So I'm gonna be off...

Just one more thing before bed. One more very important thing... New My Chemical Romance video-Helena-go watch it. If nothing less than altogether frightening it is beautifully filmed and should be viewed solely for its artistic quality if not for the emotional music and Gerard's intriguing eyes. Plus, if every boy in the world had hair like his, I'd be quite content.  So go watch, enjoy, and LEAVE ME A COMMENT! hehe, xoxo
