| memory of PC Dukes PC DUKES MEMORY
i forgot about PC Dukes until I came across this picture! I use to get the chicken nugget special cuz it was one punch...you know nugget/fry basket and a super large cola! so here's my memory of one of the many embarrassing moments in my life. Of course after walking from the quad to TDU you get really hungry after class so I decided to go to PC Dukes....this was of course before Chic Fillet and all the crazy stuff that came onto campus and even before PC Dukes got a face lift. I ordered the nugget meal and went on my merry way. That day I think I was wearing khakis or something of the sorts and I had all these books in my backpack. I already had a hard time holding the huge cup of cola and a huge bag of food that it was hard enough to walk let alone what happen to me after I left the doors of PC Dukes. I was concentrating on carrying my stuff that I wasn't looking at the ground at all...and too my surprise boom kachunch splash crash boom....i had tripped over the sidewalk and because I was holding my food in both hands I couldn't break my fall. My drink and food went flying out of my hands and I had fallen flat on my face! That wasn't the worst part of it all....my backpack that day was sooo heavy and full of books...it went flying over my head. I had the hardest time getting up b/c I was pinned down by my backpack! My knee was all bloody too! I was so embarrassed that I couldn't think and my reaction was to flee the scene! I think some guy was even like "are you ok, do you need help".....I got up as fast as I could left the food and ran to TDU...I'm sooo thankful that no one I knew was there to witness this all! PC Dukes I hate you, but I miss you!
Moral of the story.....dont carry too many books in your backpack...in fact dont bring books to class at all and dont walk on sidewalks that you might trip on!
